"The narrative series sees the band having to cope with day-to-day challenges like sharing a dingy East London flat and trying to impress girls when they have no cash. One of them has to sleep in the kitchen."

Sorry Joyrex but most things which are 'on-line phenomenons' along with '45 million hits' in my book are worth staying well clear of.

This is watmmer, we are underground!!!

4 just can't seem to come up with any funny shows lately. After shite like Noel fielding's luxury comedy and sirens I'm starting to lose faith in channel 4.

Whats this to do with Squarepusher? Am I the only one that sees the "Squarepusher: Ufabulum — track by track written by Squarepusher"?

UK comedy (along with most TV) is just dead. I still don't get why Workaholics hasn't been shown over here, it's far better than anything I've seen in years from the UK.

Last stuff I liked was Black Books and IT Crowd.

It's fair to say I don't really keep on the radar with comedy, most of it is shit, I think there are blokes at work that are funnier than most crap on tv.

edit; oh yeah and The Inbetweeners.

yeah the inbetweeners was good, but is fairly old now. when was the last series.. 2009/10?

i thought IT crowd was a bit meh really. Moss was funny, and so was Bainbridge... but i didn't find the irish fella (forgot his name)

or the women (forgot her name) very funny at all. so.. bit crap overall, imho.

Campus was fairly funny.

Fresh Meat was so so.

i thought Campus was shit.

i liked fresh meat, though. but it wasn't 'laugh-out-loud-funny'.

it just had some alright stories and some good characters.

i think Green Wing has been my favorite British comedy of the last 10 years.

it still cracks me up even now when i see repeats on Gold sometimes, and it's like 8 years old.

i don't think the inbetweeners has aged well in 3 years, or will age as well as Green Wing has in 8 years.

yeah Spaced is a classic!

there have been some great British comedies over the years. but a lot of them aren't lol fuinny. they're more sort of atmosphere/scene, story, and character based...

unlike most American comedies these days that all seem to be set in a coffee shop or a bar or buddies apartments.

i kind of liked that thing that had steve coogan and.. forgot his name, welsh dude.. driving around and eating meals. not that i could say it's a good programme but it made me laugh.

Spaced is very 90's and it looks it. but it's still very funny and a decent '90's period' character comedy..
