Searching for "gas" does not give any results. And yes, Nah und Fern was in heavy rotation when it came out. It's music to get lost in. Sublime stuff. Yes, this track was completely omitted from the remastered version in Nah Und Fern, for whatever reason. I believe I remember Voigt saying somewhere at the time that some master tapes of certain pieces could not be found for the remastering, so the Gas S/T remaster omits that track and actually ADDS a completely new track in its place. Anyway, if you want it, it's on the original version of the CD/3LP, although I can recommend tracking down the 3LP over the CD version as the vinyl has significantly longer versions of almost all the tracks. The S/T is often the most overlooked one of the four and I've always felt it was quite strong, esp. for that opening track. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
