Hope you like this slow dark thing. Pretty proud of some of the sounds in this one. Any comments are helpful of course. Let me know if you want a listen back.

I really like the tap-tap white-noise thump-thump rhythm you have going on. My old Ensoniq gear has a miserable "drumkit". This limitation forces me to create my own patches - white-noise crash, anyone? So I appreciate the effort put into your nicely-done homebrew percussion.

The birdies coming in toward the end of your dark soundscape are a nice touch. It's like, "We are indifferent to your sad human lot and will continue to sing". I've been exactly there...and I don't mean from the birds' perspective.

Great choice of sounds in a nice track.

I find that often when i try to make more soundscape sounding stuff I tend to loose my way and the project turns into something completely different. I like your discipline to keep it simple. Nice pace to it and agreeing with the previous persons comment I think the birds come in nicely to round it off. Found it particularly pleasing to listen to as Ive spent the last two nights listening to those autechre radio mix's. My ears needed something to chill them out.

Actually I might go to bed now.

thanks man!

wow, thank you! this is some of the best feedback I've ever gotten. You guys are both great listeners. I'm glad you liked it.

edit: the white noise is from a bike pump.

really enjoyed it. the birds are good, will agree with the others and I like the drums. perhaps maybe longer? expand on the outro, maybe turn that synthy bit at the end into something else, then back into this first section? your call

I could easily imagine this being incorporated into part of a soundtrack of an indie film or even an adventure game by an indie game developer. The percussion is unimposing and complements the pads just right.

Nothing I can think of to add for improvement at the moment. Nice work overall.

Nicely restrained approach, as thenameicallmyself says above, and a well-judged piece using a very small number of components, which is actually pretty hard to pull off. Good work.

I really like this. The bass is nice and relaxing and the sound design is awesome. Loving also how this feels so complete but there's also nothing unnecessary.
