So inspired by this thread at Muffwigglers (http://www.muffwiggler.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=89409 - you'll need to be logged in) I've been speaking to one of my housemates who is a keen amateur typesetter who reckons she could easily come up with something similar for watmm.

Basically the top 250 watmm members* names embossed on 300gsm Somerset archival paper stock. We've got a couple of design ideas, haven't finalised it just yet, but I thought I'd put out some feelers, and you get the basic idea from the above pic.

* I've taken a couple of the top 250 posters out because I don't like them. I'm not doing '1,000 strong' because beyond the top 250, I have no idea who anyone is. However, if you'd like to be included and you're outside the top 250 and think you want to purchase a print, let me know and I'll add you in and bump somebody off.

Price is going to be about £25. First run of about 100, will do more if the demand is there. 10% of profits is going to be donated to the website's running costs. The remainder of the profits is going to a fund to help out a couple of our current members who are having a rough time and both saving up to have a tattoo removed. I'll leave it up to them if they want to let the forum know who they are.

These will be signed and hand numbered.

Also, the stupid tart did a mock up run, but sorted the member list by post count in ascending rather than descending order. If anybody wants a print of the bottom 250 watmm members all with zero post counts to their name, just say. I'll throw it in with a proper one for free.

Perhaps you should do it based on joined date rather than post count? That would (hopefully) weed out certain members known for their propensity for ah, "quantity" over "quality", eh?

Look at Joyrex already playing the seniority card.

Well, true - some people have been great contributors in a relatively short time, but the majority of "relatively new/high post count" members are unfortunately not known for their consistently high quality input.

I'd say do it by donation amounts, but the list would sadly be far short of 250 members...

@JR-

I'm just teasing man. I just knew someone would bring it up. I also think there are a lot of long-term members who don't post often or sort of sit on the sidelines, but they have been around since 05 or whatever. Generally, things that are not inclusive in environments like this I think only serve to alienate people. So, I would be supportive of a "donation based inclusion" model as well.

Man, BCM is a lot easier to remember than 2WV.

Gettin' all AE track title on us?

(I'm a total hypocrite, I remember AE track titles better than anything)

How about a thread where people list all of their past SN's...?

lol so we a bunch of watmmers all get exposed for being dups?

But as for the original idea here... I think that's pretty cool.
