Supposed unheard AFX remixes

Never really given this a proper listen before:

Wonder if this is like one of the earliest Steinvord tracks, has like Aphex beat mangling with Tom's FM/ringmod-ised bass shenanigans.

That last one, Unknown (Unreleased Melodies from Mars or Mike & Rich track??) (2,55), is Mike Dred. That 2012 Melbourne track sounds like it has elements of that Scirem track? RDJ / LV is that little acid jam they did.

It's a bit too much credit to call that AFX / SLF track an unheard AFX recording, it's just a live edit. From what set is that though, Snowbombing or that Primavera one maybe? Not much soundboards to choose from, and this is probably from around early 00's.

Besides that, a pretty nice list they have there!

That's the only one I can find but it claims there are two?

Also, where did the AFX-LFV track on the same page go? http://rareafx.wordpress.com/unreleased-tracksremixes/

Yeh the two links on the site both point to this same track...probably an error...

Also... no sign of the two electronic pieces from ECC2011...:/ they are killers after all

So basically nothing new, and is the RDJ LFV track just the 180db_ track? Is that what you're talking about?

It is the intro track för Aphex 1997 live set.

How do you know that? Just curious  I made a thread a while ago asking about the origins of that track, and Joyrex said it was an old track by Richard.

Ahhh, so that little gem finally made it's way out of the shadows... I've had that track for ages, sworn to secrecy.

Sorry, I was in a bit of a hurry when I wrote that, I confused it with a track from Universal Indicator Yellow. I'll believe Joyrex that this is Richard, listening to it now it's pretty obvious actually. My memory could be wrong on this one, but I remember someone wrote on a webpage from the late 90's that he got this track on a cassette that had TAN-109 written on it (the alias for Universal Red too I believe?).

So Joyrex, that SLF edit is not from a liveset but a full recording? Where/what year did it originate from, how did those guys from that site obtain it?

sorry if someone already mentioned this but this track from I understand is what eventually became 'Perc 6' compilation track (thats sort of a weird electro acoustic hand drum + weird ring mod sounds). If you listen to both tracks you can hear the same ring mod rhythm which is probably being triggered by the same breakbeat except the actual break is muted on Perc6.

I got it from someone who knew Richard on here, probably around 2003ish? Not sure, would have to look at the date on the file. Most likely they got it from the same source I did (like the Joyrex Tape tracks). Hard to trust folks these days...
