Wolfgang Voigt / Gas

Man, Pop is so deep, one album of it is more than enough for me. Honestly I love how ever-changing and tangential WV's work has become - case in point, Ruck is clearly the closest analog to GAS and yet it sounds even more alien in a lot of ways.

Between this new one and the live Ruck vinyl coming at Astral Industries, it's going to be a very German summer for me.

Just biked by this thread and wanted to say that Ruck 9 and 10 are both awesomely lush and are essential listening if you haven't already. Where's my Wolf Gang at??

I also stumbled upon this Protest (Profan) compilation on blerp and at first by the description I was like :wtf: but man it's frustrating how many great tracks on there are nullified by the ones where he's making detuned minimal fart techno.
