Just read the 2009 thread from last year, good to see a few WATMM peeps are feeling the love for Glade. I have been every year since it started, and thought the new venue last year was a good move. Headliners only announced so far this year - Orbital (meh, saw them at Brixton Academy last year, was ok i suppose), Simian Mobile Disco (seen them supporting Underworld, were actually quite good live acidy techno stuff), and Tricky (ermm... cant think of a more depressing way to finish off the sunday evening of a festival....) So, bring on the Glade! Here's hoping for a massive Overkill lineup, and looks like Bloc are back on board again.

Kinetik Festival Schedule : we are now able to post the precise schedule of the festival. For people coming without actual tickets (the ones that have bought online their tickets or passes and for those that bought passes in stores), be sure to arrive at least 1h before the first show to get in in time. Specially for the week end nights, we highly recommand you to arrive in advance, since some of the sold out nights of last year had more than 1h delay to get inn (because of the time needed to process the tickets at the venue tickets counter). I am going to the one on the 3rd. I had tickets for Ulrich Schnauss at the same place in February, but missed it because of some snow and no ride back. So I am quite happy to be seeing Chapterhouse and Mahogany too. Anyone else going or planning on it?

Anyone check out Plastikman at Timewarp? Any thoughts on his new "interactive" performance? You can download an iPhone / iPod Touch app, connect to the available wifi network at the show, and in real-time see visual effects, what he's playing, the bpm, etc. live at the show. Sounds pretty awesome, and it kills me that I won't be going to see him at Coachella (Orbital too, for that matter). Having always been a headphone/downtime listener of his stuff I wonder what it would be like to be in a live crowd to experience his style of music - it's not too mellow? Read more about the show in this blog post (scroll down to the "Plastikman Live" portion): Timewarp Revi…
