here is where we talk of these? any thoughts? i haven't been able to track them down yet, but they are all apparently remastered 2cd+bonus trax versions in slipcase digipacks or something. i never had any of these albums in the first place but i do like cheesy Graham Massey music in general. sup

Phasen- The Crisis is Over

After a few releases on u-cover I've decided to put out an album on the brand new and super tiny Distant Noise Records. It's a label run by Innerise (if you've heard of him). His brother, Luga (also on vu-us records) releases there, with other stuff from Cheju (u-cover, boltfish) and a few other notables on the way. There's only 100 copies of it being pressed, and I'm quite happy with it. I'll probably make it available on archive.org for free once it sells out, but it will likely be on torrent sites after it's out anyways...just like every other CD I've released. If anyone checks this out, do let me know what you think! Fans of classic electronic music and psyc…

New Cex jams released on Rjyan's small run tape label Must Finish (and party of his goal to release nine albums this year). From what I've heard it's dubby/heavy booty forward jams built with a little help from Steely Dan. You can hear a little snippet in the background of http://vimeo.com/117260 http://brainwashed.com/tb6/cex/mustfinish/

Shoosh - Orpheum Circuit
by Guest Herb- 0 replies
Orpheum Circuit is the debut album release for the inventive, electro-folksters Shoosh. Fronted by 90s indie pioneer Neil Carlill, who was formerly the lead singer with Delicatessen (Rough Trade/Big Life) and Lodger (Island). Their sound is a unique blend of american folk, modern ambient and surreal, dadaist lyrics, that are delivered in a highly distinctive and thoroughly compelling style. Carlill is backed up on acoustic guitar by Ed Drury, a composer with over 60 titles to his credit and Craig Murphy on synthesizers. Murphy has released under various names including Solipsism (Herb, Envizagae) and ch.pm (Ambidextrous, Ansiform). Shoosh is a trio of musicians…

I really liked this guy's first album, but it seemed he'd disappeared off the face of the earth over a year ago. So he's got a new album out - good melodic instrumental tracks. Not sure how to describe it. For fans of Plone, Mouse on Mars, Schlammpeitziger, Isan, Ulrich Scnauss etc. Samples here: http://www.juno.co.uk/products/330574-01.htm

from robert hampson's myspazz blog REACTOR present the long out of print albums by Loop remastered from the original analogue sources. These two releases will be released on the same day, scheduled October 08 release. They will be housed in a Mini Vinyl style card sleeve, which reproduce the original artwork which has been slightly modified to fit the gatefold format and including inner bags for both discs. All due care has been taken to release everything that is available to us in some chronological order, sadly a couple of tapes have been too badly damaged or lost to make a complete edition, but these will be the definitive editions...there won't be any 'spe…
