Contacting Rephlex 1 2

I was wondering if any of you guys had non-obselete contact details [phone number or current email] for Rephlex Records, that you'd be happy sharing. I live just round the corner from where they're based and was hoping to use my mad skills to acquire a copy of the new Wisp album...

Spaceballs 1 2
by Guest Abuse- 42 replies

I was watching the film Spaceballs for the first time since my childhood days. I think, back in the days, I even had a little crush on Daphne Zuniga who also starred in The Sure Thing and Melrose Place. Spaceballs introduced me to Bill Pullman, and it also stars the late John Candy and Rick Moranis as Dark Helmet. So I'm watching Spaceballs now. What an utterly crap film. I never liked Mel Brooks in the first place but now I'm really starting to hate him (for directing this crap film and also starring in it)

makin beats with your teeth 1 2
by Guest zaphod- 26 replies

does anyone do this? or just beat boxing at a low volume when they're bored. sort of like drumming your fingers on a table but with your teeth. sometimes combine it with low volume mouth noises. i've gotten quite good, i assign different teeth to do different jobs, like the incisor on the right is the hi hat, a molar might be a kick drum, etc. i do it on the train sometimes but then realize i probably look like i'm chewing something really fast and have to stop. wow i sound like i'm insane, lol.

there used to be a cartoon strip in the beano or the dandy or similar, based on a family of little guys that lived inside a man's body, operating his everyday functions, controlling him like a big machine from the brain/control room. they'd show a big cross section of the body and the little guys working in their different jobs/areas.. can any of you old buggers(like me) recall anything like this? would have been around '80-'84 ish. i'm trying to work out the comic and the strips name? it looked like a more comic version of this but with more little guys and departments...

im in too much pain atm to hunt down my salsa thread, but i'd just like to let you know that my local beer/wine shop called the vintage cellar happens to stock a shelf of ridiculously hot, hot sauces notably the blair's 3AM and 6AM line of sauces. however, i went with the vicious viper sauce and put a tablespoon into my habanero salsa and holy fucking cunt shit this stuff is hot, and it's only rated at 500,000 scoville units. a fresh habanero is rated at about 200k to 300k scoville units. my next purchase will be the blair's 3AM which is rated at 1.5 to 2.0 million scoville units, and when the specialty bottles of 6AM and Special Reserve becom…

just read a youtube comment on that this decade has gone by so much faster than the 90's and thinking back, it sure has, BUT that's probably because I grew up much during the 90's and your childhood is what lots of your memories are created around etc etc.. But again, thinking of how much more we document stuff nowadays plus talking about what we do non-stop, twittering (tho I'm sceptical about twitter being so world-widely spread/used seriously) and whatnot - wanting to show people what we do (ehrm youtube) - yeah I'm guilty too. Just the fact that we wanna keep copies of EVERYTHING and remember EVERYTHING, at least that's how it feels. A memory by itself just isn't …

Creative Commons

I've been looking at Creative Commons for a while and wondered whether anyone here has put any thought into (or actually used) Creative Commons licenses with their music? - the main idea being encourage people to mash up / remix your stuff and perhaps encourage internet collaborations... If you don't know what Creative Commons is, it's like copyright, but instead of being "All Rights Reserved" it's "Some Rights Reserved" so usually the deal is (depending on which license of theirs you use) people can do what they want with your work, as long as they make it clear that they've used your work. Their website: http://creativecommons.org/ There are al…
