So, i'm just online right, i'm talking to some chick and she sends her pic, i send her mine and she replies.. Wow, you're like, really skinny - Yeah I know. Your face.. is like.. really skinny, u need to eat n fatten up it up - *looks down.. thinks.. Botox it is* So, where do I buy this stuff? Or maybe I need to get kicked in the face a lot of times to really puff up with random body juices. I don't know how many girls will like the puss inflated balloon look.

Richard Wagner's Ring operas
by Guest my usernames always really suck- 13 replies

I'm pondering buying tickets for this... Seattle Opera is hosting these in August. I'm not really into opera, in fact the only opera music I've ever been really able to get into in the past has been Rossini's stuff, because his stuff I've seen is so damn animated and full of personality. But they were playing one of these Wagner operas (not sure which, there's 4 I think right?) on the classical station here and I gotta say... Wagner's compositional style is some seriously powerful stuff. I'm sure everyone is familiar with that Flight of the Valkyries work probably popularized in that famous scene in Apocalypse Now. But every ten minutes segued into equally ear…

In case you don't know, it was featured on Married to the Mob, but became an utter cult classic due to Silence of The Lambs. Here is the track in it's entirety: For LOLs, Here is the Silence of The Lambs, Buffalo Bill clip where the song is featured, and the tempo is sped up a little: And the Clerks 2 clip, lol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=79Jt4Q5ulEs

Pete Rock
by Guest AOOproductions- 4 replies

Shit the Main ingredient is my fav Rap Album ever! It's so seductive, so many fuckin layers of samples and beats. This album was like the J Dilla blueprint! Everything dilla did Rock did in this album, except way jazzier and with far more skill in my opinion. You can tell his pure music knowledge is unreal just by judging where all those samples came from! Anyways IMHO he's the best producer of all time. youtube took a fuckin shit ton of Pete rock and CL smooth tracks off, but this one is hot and a pure pete showcase. Lots of CL(most under-rated rapper of all time?) and Pete rock this summer. What Pete Rock & CL Smooth joints will you be blasting this su…

Hey everyone. I'm new to WATMM (something I've been putting of forever). Australian traveling to the states for a month; hopefully Warp20 lines up for me (I'm coming back on the 15th) - otherwise I will be a sobbing mess for the rest of my life. I realize that this is all highly presumptuous for now, but I thought I'd extend a shout to anyone who is in the NY area; gig tips, general info, ridiculum, etc. I'm traveling solo for the most part, it should be good fun

Aphex Twin Sound:Color Synesthesia in The Soloist
by Guest tronicphace- 16 replies
- 1.6k views
Don't know if any of you saw this movie 'The Soloist' this weekend, but there is a depiction of sound:color synesthesia, which Aphex Twin has been rumored to experience. The visual is several minutes long. If anybody out there has it and has seen this movie, I would be interested to hear if they experience it in a similar way. Here's the wiki: Sound:Color Synesthesia I would imagine it manifests itself differently depending on the person.

because what it addresses a very interesting question: how do you make something go very, very slowly, but at a rate that has to be completely accurate down to, say, a tenth of a second? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clock_of_the_Long_Now the new prototype is sweet http://news.cnet.com/2300-11386_3-10000718.html
