    DANK MEMES

Best thread on any forum online hands down.
  2. phantom menace production design is excellent and much more interesting and inventive than all three new star wars films combined It's crazy how much more I appreciate TPM these days.
  3. Kinda crazy how much work it took to kill Palpatine, but Snoke died by that hand of some Emo kid with the flick of a wrist. One of the very very very few things I liked about TFA was the scariness of Snoke's character and the mystery. What a way to fuck that up the arse.
  4. If you actually LIKED TFA? And hate this... Man I despise TFA. So I think i'm going to love this. The only thing that scares me is I really do not like any of these new characters at all. Besides Snoke maybe.
  5. As long as it's better than that steaming pile of shit TFA, i'm gonna have a jizzfest watching it.

    DANK MEMES

was hoping for dank memes. all lol posts.
  7. Lmao at him not knowing what Gungans are. To me he's coming off as "get off my yard" old guy. I'm sorry, Luke is a senior citizen, he's not going to fly in and save everyone's ass again.
  8. Did you tattoo up your face, do hard drugs all day, release some shitty music and gain notariety via Soundcloud when you were 21? I don't know, I think I just drank quite a bit and smoked weed every once in a while (and maybe shrooms 1nce). I do not feel sympathy. You want to live that life you get to deal with the repercussions of it.
  9. Loved it. Thought the production quality and cinematography improved tenfold. Yea that Chicago stuff was a little meh, but everything else was really great. I loved how they showed the much darker sides of people and humanity in this season. My wife was not so happy with all of the extra violence, so that made me like it even more... hehe...
  10. Who gives a dick if you are queer, straight, bi, dolphin, or hermit crab. If you make great music you make great music. If not, go fuck yourself. Knowing about electronic music also means shiite. Innovaters don't prescribe to genres and music norms.
  11. Wife's gone this weekend I think it's a perfect night to nerd out and go watch this by myself. Although I could never get into the original.

    DANK MEMES

this thread makes my life worth living.
  13. Watched King Arthur - Legend of the Sword. Got to say, way better than I expected. Critics panned it, and it wasn't a masterpiece or anything. But I enjoyed it for what it is, some good clean fun. Fight scenes were awesome. And some of the movie was reminiscent of LOTR, which of course I loved. I'd suggest it if you have nothing else to watch.
  14. Just saw the new Spiderman. It was good. I'd give it like an 83 out of 100. The effects were pretty great, I really thought i was there with them. The new spidey-kid is quite annoying at first but you grow to love him. And Michael Keaton was fucking great.
  15. I'm sorry i'm late to the game but--- FUCK Taku for sampling Dimlite. Leave his music(genius) alone please. Smdh.
  16. Man I love his chill stuff mainly. A5 lovely. B4 sounding nice.
  17. You know, over the years I think ive cared less and less about my music being liked or appreciated. But deep down in there, there's always that little thought, "is my music that horrible or something?", "what do you have to do suck off a blog owner to get a little bit of shine?", "hear so much shit out there, think my shits better, but really it must not be?" The stress of it was pretty heavy the first few years I started (i'm probably around 8-10 years in now). Really wanted people to like my shit. Now i'm just like, eh fuckit. I'm going to make music I love to make, that I personally love to hear, and if people dig it thats nice, if not, what the fuck does it even matter? I remember reading a rather known Electronic producer say (no names), that he doesn't even listen to his own music, or rarely ever does. I find something innately wrong with this. Music should be from your soul, encapsulates you as a person. Gives me immense pleasure to be able to sit outside with a beer and a smoke and enjoy my own shit for an hour or two. Not just listen, but really enjoy it.
  18. Awesome topic, i've dwelt on this for a long-time. For me, getting started is possibly the most stressful point in making music. Naturally, when i'm done at work and get home my body and mind believes it must tune out. So it actually feels unnatural forcing myself to do something creative. I think it's years and years of just throwing on the TV and letting my mind shut off. This barrier once crossed, is forgot about until the next time i begin the idea to create something new in a few weeks. But getting through it is seriously like ripping off my own arm sometimes. Then once started, it usually flows greatly from there and i'm addicted to working on / completing this new track. Only other stress I get is probably from percussion. Fucking 'ell, i hate percussion. If I could do songs completely percussionless with only melodies, chords, synths, sounds, field recordings, i'd be floating in clouds. But what i want to create requires it. It's stressful because I feel I can never get the shit to sound right, or interesting enough, and then once i'm done, is it good enough? or is not? TONS of second guessing. Funny thing is if I sit at a drumset, i love percussion- its just the complexities of electronic music and it's IDMcratic standards that fuck with me.
  19. My ipod is small and shitty and I can't fit every song in it. Someone make me a Best of CD. Now. Right. Now.
  20. Absolutely agree with this. Some of the tracks on this album are so forced it's just sad. And a few of them sound like they are just plucked from older work that hasn't been released (which they admitted to doing). As far as every release this by far my least favorite. Their multitude of amazing stuff just suffocates TH, and therefore I am not upset that I do not enjoy it. Too much to look back upon and smile about.
