  1. Loving it, keeping in mind the concept they were going for here. The tracks don't hit the same way Wallet or Clocks do but as a whole, I think it's really fun and positive. I love Polymer but feel like the vibe is a bit up and down throughout. This one is definitely checking some sci-fi cheese boxes so I can see how that might not work for everyone. I like Wondergan! Tomason, Return to Return, Cwtchr, and Perspex are catching my ear the most on first listen.
  2. https://thequietus.com/articles/32337-plaid-feorm-falorx-review Getting the fat bike out for a ride in the snow over to one of the local breweries, going to give the album it's first listen on the ride. I'm exicted!
  3. If this tracks I’m still ok and excited about it, seems like a fun project and I’m happy they are still at it. Reachy is my favorite Plaid album depending on the day. It’s ok if this is it’s own thing.
  4. I can't find a better thread for this, but relistening to the Autchre Warp Tapes 89-93 and oh my fucking god these are so insanely good. Just front to back bangers on both sessions. Incredible. This isn't new news but I had to remark at how truly great these tunes are.
  5. Was not expecting to like Dirty Rat at all but it’s pretty great! Unmistakable Orbital sound. Tbh they could’ve stopped making music years ago, respect for continuing on. Orbital will always hold a special place for me.
  6. This sounds nice, lovely even, but it all kinda runs together and not much is really standing out to me. Unfortunately finding this pretty uninteresting, that yacht pop vibe isn't for me. Turned off by Tame Impala for the same reason. I've still got a trove of Bibio albums I cherish so it's all good. Good on him for mixing up is sound and doing different things at least.
  7. Beatiful tune!! Sounds almost like a cross between Even Spring and Missing. Love how this album is shaping up, this is a great opening track.
  8. 1. Boards of Canada - The Campfire Headphase 2. Plaid - Spokes 3. Autechre - Tri Repetae 4. Autechre - Sign 5. Oneohtrix Point Never - Magic OPN 6. Clark - Body Riddle 7. Ulrich Schnauss - A Strangely Isolated Place I'm sure I'm missing a few! What are yours?
  9. A bit odd that'd it would come out on Thursday and not Friday but who says that's the law anyways! I'm excited to hear this.
  10. Thank you! No wonder i didn’t know what it was from. Amazing track, wouldn’t have been out of place on Spokes tbh
  11. I feel like an idiot for not knowing, but what song is this? There was another clip of this track floating around, the backdrop video was b&w footage of a zeppelin. Anyways, I thought this track would fit perfectly w this new album/theme. is this a b side? From one of their soundtracks? I can’t place it
  12. Los rocks, I had this track on repeat the other day. Definitely getting the lp5 vibes as well!
  13. Most notably, IMO, Reachy Prints. It's a concise set of tunes but the highlights rival some of the highest highs in their discography.
  14. I like both, but Polymer landed more for me than Digging Remedy. Enjoy, I hope you're on the other side of your depression! Some of the most memorable/cherished albums for me are ones that carried me through dark times.
  15. Purchased! No idea if I got in for a signed copy or not. I dig the album art but like other's prefer some of the other pieces they've been sharing. Excited for the tunes and the novel!
  16. Feorm Falorx by Plaid https://www.feormfalorx.world/ https://plaid.warp.net/
  17. https://www.instagram.com/p/Ch7jYaHp8eV/ looks like an album of some variety, with an accompanying graphic novel. Heck yeah!!
  18. Love this aesthetic, whatever it is these guys are up to!
  19. Well that explains that! Wonder why it’s taken so long after that to officially release them
  20. Well that’s interesting! Hope this is official. I’ll give ‘er a shot… edit: yea they cancelled my order 15 min. After I placed it.
