  1. (just chillin' in 2023) lol whoops! Forgot about that extremely rare and sought after BoC record that nobody has ever seen or heard, that I currently have in my possession! (creates shittiest possibly quality recording, uploads to youtube)
  2. My desert island album, even though depending on the day I think I like Geogaddi more. I never get tired of listening to it. Telephasic Workshop changed me. Smokes Quantity might be their most underrated track imo. What more can be said that hasn't already been said? It should be in any music fans top 20 of all time. It should be in any electronic music fans top 5.
  3. Hell yes this sounds really nice. Album is an all timer for me personally.
  4. thats fair! Blizzards was one of my fave albums of 2020, it knocked me out the first time i heard it.
  5. Really pretty album, quite a bit different than Blizzards. Feeling pretty spoiled that we’ve gotten new Holden, Fake. Paradinas, and VHS Head albums within the past 2 weeks.
  6. This album is amazing, of course he nailed an ambient album. So much good music this month! I’m in love with Eire in particular. Never stop making music, Mike.
  7. Generally agree w Fumi here but I think Skinflex is a standout. let’s all be clear about Paradise Drive though - it’s a fucking jam and a half
  8. It did land on Apple, can’t wait to listen today. Lots of new music out today!
  9. This album is amazing...probably my AOTY so far. It has Inheritors vibes but flows so much better. This is definitely meant to be listened to as an album. So lush! Lots of dubby-tribal vibes throughout. Holden is kinda like Vibert to me - I wouldn't call myself the biggest fan out there, but godamn I'm so glad to grow up in an era where he's making music. I'll be listening to this for a while.
  10. I realize Orb albums are best formatted for CD but I’d kill for a vinyl repress of their early to mid 90s output. Orbus Terrarum in particular.
  11. I think I posted this when Monsters came up but Orbital built up so much credibility with me by being a gateway group into electronica. The Brown Album and In Sides in particular. They are and will always be legends to me. The newer stuff is far better than it has any business being. Whether it’s corny, dad-tronica, bland, or whatever they really do stick to what they do well. I think in large part we’ve just grown out of it. All that being said I really enjoy this record. I love the Sleaford Mods track I think in large part because the lyrics and energy resonate with me. The drum and bass track is surprisingly good! I do not care for the last two tracks at all. Better than Monsters, nowhere near their 90s output but it doesn’t have to be. Love Orbital with all my heart.
