  1. Now here's a thread I'd kill to see happening: Squarepusher: Ufabulum †track by track written by SquarepusherWarp: Holy f***in' Shit, Methyl Orange LP really happening
  2. ^47 is dope. Carrier's Blue Nine is great. Worth to check out for everyone who went apeshit for the first AQXDM ep. Spotted it from one of Royal Subsonic Consortium mixes and also nabbed this from the most recent mixes (sweet build up):
  3. New JK Flesh stuff from Hospital Records are worth to check out.
  4. Can't remember if I nicked the following from this thread (search couldn't find), so sorry if already posted, but I really love the early bronchus & Basscad etc. era elements of this: This one more noisy:
  5. After a little break gave the album + all the bonus stuff (incl. Lamental EP) a listen and SP's '20's stuff has just gotten better with time. Speedcrank has some serious Taking Control vibes in it. The breaks and acid lines are so crunchy and phat it melts my mind. All those high-pitched compress noises which molested Ufabulum and most of DF have gone down the drain. Plus, the Warp 30 mix is the best thing happen to Drill'n Bass (or whatever you want to call it) for years. Old Don wipes the floor with all the new competition.
  6. Nah, it's just me and my beady eyes. The beginning of your OP seemed to me like "hype hype", so I overlooked the fine print at the end. Maybe if you had high lighted the last part like rev85 did, I had possibly caught it too. Plus there's a totally different emphasis on you starting a thread where asking our interest for a possible kickstarter etc. for some old half mythical release, than if I started the same thread As pessimist as you guys see me as, in reality I'm so hyped for the possibility for this even though can't really see it happening. Those tracks are dank af.
  7. Fair enough, had missed that disclaimer part in my enthusiasm. And wouldn't describe my approach as pessimistic, but highly realistic, especially after the other pm Joyrex got. Dunno about you, but it did everything else than raise my hopes any higher. How I saw this was that because these were given to people found on "who's who" of Rephlex roster (like pointed out on the original Joyrex post), it got me (wrongly) assuming there was some connection to TJ etc. We all know boss has plenty of contacts in high places, and since he couldn't of course say a word, well, it makes some fertile ground for assumptions. So my bad yep. Not so much disappointed though, this isn't the first time when these special projects don't come to fruition. Happy to impress though.
  8. Ooof. I honestly thought this project was based on a little more solid ground than it seems it actually is....like there had been some slight nod from TJ or whoever to fire it away in order to Joyrex to start the thread and ask about our (indisputable) zest for this. But now seeing that there actually is very little to actually grasp on, I really don't think this will happen. Of course won't hurt to ask, but won't be holding my breath. Sorry guys for pissing on the parade....my hype just suddenly dried and now this feels as hypothetical as a possible release of, say, CAT002. Please prove me wrong though!
  9. ^yeah totally, I forgot that one. Damn what tracks. Such a tease from rome 2002 set and cylob mixes. Hopefully finally will happen. Joyrex pls.
  10. lol makes sense now, was scratching my head so hard while trying to figure out what the hell you were after.

Was surfing around Beatport yesterday and bumped to the brain rec comps (previously only on CD): 1-8 => https://www.beatport.com/release/brain-compilation-vol-1/100672 9-17 => https://www.beatport.com/release/brain-compilation-vol-2/100674 18-25=>https://www.beatport.com/release/brain-compilation-vol-3/46398 26-32++ =>https://www.beatport.com/release/brain-compilation-vol-4/46399 Dunno, could be jazz, but I haven't found the (official) digital vinyl for those, even if I've googled for them few times since your heads up above. Could be because Beatport have catalogued them under the parent label (Maretimo Records) and not under Brain Recs....or then I'm just dumb af. Yeah yeah soulseek and all, but if you want the official there you go.
  12. ^wait is that..no it can't be....have you finally revealed the secret source to your powers of dank?
  13. Yeah, even though I probably buy as much music as ever, the size of my collection is still gradually shrinking over time. I always tell myself I'm only going to buy something I can guarantee I'll love, but obviously it doesn't work that way. Still, it happens quite often that I listen to an album I absolutely love and in the back of my mind I start thinking "why the fuck do I even own half the albums I do when I could just be listening to stuff like this?" Sometimes a bit of variety is necessary, and I do turn to less-listened-to albums that I might not love as much just for a change, but I've long since stopped being completist with artists and buying things I like one or maybe two tracks on, 'classic' albums that I feel I should own, etc. I probably have enough music in my collection now to last me the rest of my life, although I'm always on the lookout for albums that are the same quality as my favourites, and they'll still come along. There are a handful of albums from the last three years that I still listen to loads, but realistically, as time goes on, and we have larger and larger recorder collections and more experience, there's just less and less time to get into new records. There are loads I know I love that I just haven't given the time to, and I'd love to be able to really get lost in in the way I did when I was a teenager and discovering things for the first time. Strong +1 to both of you. I'm still little old skool, that I don't stream a one bit when doing my "casual listening". Sure, I'm using Youtube/Soundcloud/Mixcloud when trying to find some new stuff, but in regular basis use my precious little Sony/FiiO boxes (also a hobby of some sorts I guess). In home listening simply using my PC library or CD's (remember those?) and yep, it is surprisingly rephresing () to listen to an actual album than just random tunes lumped together by some playlist generator or other user. Like said, the amount of music available is exhausting. It is pretty frustrating to trying to paddle through it to find some real gem, which is like 0,001% of everything. But knowing that there is that little chance, that the next tune you're about to hit play button at, might be the best shit ever, keeps me wasting time to scroll through insane amount of tunes which I end up not liking. Especially since I'm so super picky, that it must meet my taste 100% for getting my seal of approval. That's why these RDJ or Jodey Kendrick dumps feel like a celestial blessing. Amen to that. Yeah, never been fond of these tin foil hat things. Just here for the choons.

  16. reddit fed up waiting for the bleepstore update and put up a petition for digilords. Sadly I'm such a cynical turd and think the petition's impact will most likely be 0, but in case here are peeps with more positive attitude and who would be interested to chime in, it's here: https://www.change.org/p/aphex-twin-put-the-analord-series-by-afx-on-streaming-platforms Who knows....thinking about CWLP and all....
  17. Found an awesome deal for old UR bundle. Dunno how long Revolution For Change has been on my discogs wishlist but should get it here soon
