  1. Been playing this through the weekend. Must have spinned it like 6-7 times. So Crispy and phaaaat. Really love how there are bunch of organic bits in form of breaks and acid lines which compliment the mechanic (humanoid?) feeling of the album, you know those bleeps and bloops and other crackle. Brings some nice warmth and balance to it. "Fuck it" being maybe the most obvious example. Maybe should get my ears checked, but I get some Collapse ep vibes from some of the tracks. Not so much speaking about a specific collapse track, more about the overall soundscape. Mainly apparent in Traktion. Of course too early to say as it's only June, but this really raises the bar high for the aoty for me. Jeez, just listen to Orfan Atmosphere.
  2. Little off topic, but speaking of that unreleased white label 12", beside THE Rome track, are these also from the said release (or rumored to be). At least afaik they were played in the same sets by Cylob and Afx with other unreleased SP: So, should it be an EP or album? Sorry, didn't know where else to put this and couldn't find a more suitable thread. Duh, those entitled millennialists shitting around the sub again, right?
  3. "CPU is proud to release the new studio album from acclaimed artist Bochum Welt - ‘Seafire’. For this new album, Gianluigi Di Costanzo, aka Bochum Welt, devoted himself to the pursuit of creating new sounds, using old monster synthesizers to produce original compositions. This album is an evolution of the electronic style which characterized Bochum Welt’s releases on Aphex Twin's Rephlex label. ‘Seafire’ collects futuristic electro / ambient tracks, alternated with cinematic soundscapes." Dunno what to make of press release, when part of the stuff is not so new as it makes you think.
  4. Got this today. Man this is tight. Samples didn't give this any right. Really really good! 10+
  5. Didn't have a chance to give a listen to the samples when submitted the OP. Was super excited to see a new BW album with titles I was not familiar with. When finally got around SC, it really was like "Whaa, I know this....and this one too....and this". Will probably get this anyway.
  6. ^yep, seems to be a mixed bag. First track sounds like it was taken from Good Programs, the second piece sounds like older work. Only thing it really lacks is Interlude to be a proper BW album.
  7. How's that? Wasn't so much demanding anything, only wondering why there hasn't been some archive dump.
  8. I can't really wrap my head around Tom's reluctance towards releasing any archival stuff. I can understand that as an artist he wants to delve into new territories and try out new things, but like all the big archival dumps have proved, releasing old stuff to the masses doesn't take the spotlight away from your new work. In SP's case it's kinda contradictory since every time he has puts a new album out, the discussion eventually turns into us moaning for the archival tracks. It's especially us who are not so much into Ufabulufurries stuff. I believe that if Tom just put the damn archive tracks out it would create some breathing air for the reception of the new stuff. I mean, then we could focus on that solely and not on crying for these old tunes. Dunno how aware he is about our opinions though. One possibility is that he is little butt hurt for our partial dislike towards his new stuff and thinking why on earth would we even deserve the old tracks. Would he be more willing to put up his own bleepstore/soundcloud if we all were in heaven about Ufabulum etc. Can't deny that it's pretty shitty if the reaction is always "oh this sucks, I want the Rome 2002 track" when there's a new album out. It's good to see though, that with this warp30 set Tom got some of that credibility back of the status why he has a personal sub on watmm. There seems to be so much good shit to be released. Said Rome tracks, Warp20, the jungle tune Osborn spins now and then and who knows what's on that 12" white label Grant says has the best SP stuff he has heard.
  9. New Bochum Welt! 11 Tracks, out on Sep. 6th on Central Processing Unit. 12" + digital Preorders: https://shop.cpurecords.net/album/seafire

    DANK MEMES

^thought exactly the same thing when I saw that....why not add the toilet one too. I love this thread dankmasters. ?
  11. Yes yes, I ordered my copy from ebay since I thought the release date if bought from fsoldigital was 7/7. Now I don't have neither the album nor bonus ep. ? Previews are so stellar. Can't wait to get my hands on the real thing.
  12. If you read the comments on the video, you can live the whole weekend again:
  13. So, the vinyl has been out for some time duh? No pre-order, just add to cart and "in stock" status.... https://www.juno.co.uk/products/built-by-humanoid/734274-01/ Nice to hear the samples for all the tracks...
  14. In case someone hasn't been informed yet - thanks to the blackout - the Bleepstore has now own sections for mastered tape tracks and soundclowns, not any tracks yet though. Soon? Hype? Damn time...
  15. If I pre-order CD from fsoldigital shop, will I also be able to download mp3's on the release date? Couldn't find any faq sections or other info from the shop....Nowadays it takes forever to get the parcels here. This one is so special that I'd like to have it on physical too. Just trying to figure out where to put my order in.
  16. Really should grab this. Was on my SC recommendations a while ago. Usually those go pretty meh but TAFKAMP was a nice surprise. Has some great stuff there: 287 Tracks ?
  17. On my never ending journey of finding some blend of techno and banging and screeching scrap metal I've come across these. Will put in spoilers since this haul is biggish, but this is basically what you'll get (found it through Royal Subsonic Consortium mix, so credit where it's due): And some Hague Panzerkreuz freak shit Sorry again for huge ass post, hopefully you'll find something interesting there though ?
  18. Somewhat related, didn't know where else to post these, but if you like Godflesh, maybe oughta check these out: Really love Drone Machines album but other A & T stuff has left me bit cold. IMO he really kills it on that album SJ: Heavy and hard but to my ears the lyrics are bit silly. Or then I don't just understand their pristine quality. Should have gone to metal thread but vocals are so JKB so =>Industrial connection justified
  19. Big chances that these are already posted since they are pretty far from UG, but damn, can't get enough of stuff like this: C'mon rew-008 digital please. All I have are some lame ass YT rips. Not Jah at all
