  1. Yeah agreed - continuing the galaxy analogy I feel a majority of the subgenres have now collapsed in on themselves and become a big musical black hole of ideas all mushed together
  2. Needed to be a star chart a bit like this - http://music.ishkur.com/
  3. The alt text of the image should be 'How to provoke electronic music forum users'
  4. Plus I might mix the release up with Peel Sessions 2. Just imagine the confusion - I'd be telling such mishap anecdotes for years ....
  5. Isn't that like 90% of Record Store Day customers too?
  6. Or you could do what I'm gonna go: Just download the flacs when they're out (and continue to be fearful of the now two decade old coins horribly rotting in my mum's attic like some cursed object from Dark Souls)
  7. Nah - on the vinyls too: Woke up the other day when my copy of the Analogue Bubblebath vol.3 reissue had split out from its sleeve and had gained a couple of inches on side C
  8. Here's a WeTranfer of a Flac I made from the wav (yes they are bit identical you silly audiophile sausages). Put the tracklisting in the 'comment' metadata so hopefully that won't break compatibility with players .... https://we.tl/t-XLdrqW6WKG Link should work for about a week so snaffle when you can....
  9. Weird, unless @Lime68k changed it or hit some sort of Soundcloud limit ... Can't actually get the download button to download at all now
  10. The download button on the Soundcloud embed in the first post is the 'raw' full quality .wav (it's 1 point something gig I seem to remember)
  11. Think it's various Buchla modules, it's got the distinctive 'blue labels on white background' look to it:
  12. This is timestretched to 33 rather than slowed down like you'd hear it playing at the wrong speed right - I'm not going crazy ?! Not Aphex but I heard Robert Hood's Minus incorrectly played twice at 33 in two completely different mix sets before hearing it at the correct speed. Definitely love it at this slower tempo, turns it into like a trip-hop techno hybrid:
  13. Just noticed he'd uploaded a terrible video I made that I'd not seen for over 15 years (The Goddess Bunny one - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rwu4AdHhwLE ). I was obsessed with running everything through Sony Vegas's TV Simulator filter back then. I'm sure I only posted a link to it on this site before it got taken down with a copyright claim for the audio ... so presumably it's a WATMM member (past or present)
  14. Jeeeeezz, this track could power a small island for a month:
  15. The 'arrow pointing down with a line underneath' button to the left of the 'Share' button on the top right
  16. Just a reminder peeps: Throws to Youtube links and that are all good but please no links to downloads for copyrighted material. loveyouthanks xx
  17. Love that Sean's 'little mixes' are still nearly two and half hours long
  18. WATMM getting a hold of a copy:
  19. I hope that argument is part of the track ...
  20. This and Wipeout3 are TDR heaven. 2097 is the only place (I think) where you can hear Future Sound of London - Landmass:
  21. Oooh we're nearly there - https://leftfield.lnk.to/VersionExSR (shame I don't use any of those services)
  22. When the additional synth layer goes a bit more jazzy/improv (at 27:40 - 27:50 of that sonar link) it definitely reminds me of something of theirs I've heard before - not sure if it's a remix of theirs or what but it definitely sounds familiar ...
  23. Always wondered if IO was the boys doing the 'Chromatic Illusion' (tracks 9-11 of the second link)
