    it always fits though.. for me.. fckn timeless as it is. it's kind of a punctuation in some ways. i know it's just autechre being autechre but in some ways it's kind of another demarcation point or whatever. one of the releases in the discography that is a springboard.. preparing the listener for whatever is coming next w/ae releases. but that is only something that just came to mind so could be hindsight based on what i already have experienced in the releases that came after it. "wtf is an album anyways? here's L-Event and elseq.... and NTS and SIGN PLUS.. and..."

    i quit FB at start of pandemic. don't miss it one bit. was immediately relieved really to be done w/it. only held on so i could manage the work account for the synth shop. IG is less bad for me. but, i can see how people get sucked into it like tiktok etc. i'll probably quit before too long. mastadon is weird. you have to pick servers or something. i haven't spent time w/it... but created an account a while back. it's kind of like a bunch of exclusive chats you have to be let in on or something. i don't know if i have the energy/time for that. FB is crap though. IG is pretty much crap too except for some music and cycling friends. a bit of art. beyond that it's horror show of crapulence. i try to only use it on my laptop.. on mobile devices they infect the timeline w/all kinds of shit to try to lure ya in to endless scrolling. i took all social media off my phone a year or so ago. no reddit no twitter etc.. just some tumblrs i follow for art

    it's not even an AI though it's just an avatar being backed by a producer and a rapper and a gamer. unless i misread that blurb... the rapper is voiced by a human right? so, it's the same scenario as milli vanilli except instead of those two dudes it's a fckn avatar.

    i don't think any of the other re-pressings were remastered were they? sounds like autechre are hands off on it and always say something like "i don't know.. ask warp" when people ask about reissues. sounds like the masters are in warps hands and just waiting for new pressings when they think it's time. i can't remember who mastered confield and Draft.. [goes to look] - Noel Summerville.. who is same dude they use now right? probably won't be remastered. perhaps the pressing will be different or perhaps new mothers will need to be made or some part of the vinyl making process could be different but i'd be surprised if it doesn't end up sounding the same as the OGs
