    been watching this guys clips. there's a bunch of similar length. some good stuff. this one in particular blows my mind. level of difficulty. the switch hand part especially.

    that entire scene in the house and all that is fucking great. kat williams is excellent in that and hilarious. that scene is so true in so many ways about how you can show up somewhere and there's a whole thing going on and everyone's in their own story in life etc. sometimes shows get bogged down when they create a bunch of hoops for a character to go through or a bunch of tasks but that episode hangs on really well and pays off. edit: the apple tv show "The Line". doc series.. only 4 episodes i think. it's about seal team 7 and their deployment to iraq and the fuckn psycho chief who trump pardoned after he was convicted of killing civilians. pretty crazy. gets dark. the whole thing sucks.

    interesting he said when playing live he mostly uses the keys for things and doesn't mess w/the track pad. uses the kenton killamix. "can't do 2 things at once w/the track pad" so, i guess the kb is an input device in the system.

    i use mrs. torrance instead of dvr. easier than keeping track of things and knowing schedules etc. consuming media has kinda fucked me over the last year though.

    "i don't know. ask rob. he did that one." there's some interesting technical bits in some of this stuff. talking about built in eq curves in the compressors he's made in MSP. bump at 3k and 6k sometimes variable with a knob. that kind of stuff is fascinating but i don't know why. i assumed they have built all their things exactly how they want over the years. gotta respect the work and the detail and ruthlessness on mission.

    season 1 is the weakest season imo. season 2 and 3 are solid.. fun. maya hawk is charming.

    that bit w/the invisible car when they leave the nightclub.. fckn killed me. had a good laugh. i love how they sometimes will let you know about a premise for a joke or whatever then put it in their pocket until it's forgotten. then bring it out like a surprise. golden.

    blink 182 recorded some stuff in san diego at the studio i worked at. i assisted on a few sessions and was in the room a few times when tom delonge would go off on conspiracy stuff and Sumerians and "Planet-X" and all kinds of shit. he was buying books and getting them sent to the studio. was like a kid on christmas opening them up and getting into them. he didn't seem so down the rabbit hole then. it was more of a hobby but was obvious that the whole line of thinking w/the conspiracy/aliens/ancient civilizations and "knowing things unknown" type stuff was important to him. he had some kind of break down or something some years ago. just gonna repost because.

    my oven/range which has been limping along on one leg for like a year has finally gone surrendered. yesterday was chilling int he basement when i smelled that burny smell and i went up stairs and it was extra hot in the kitchen for some reason. oven had turned it self on and was like 450 degrees. so strange. it's not a digital oven. all analog. all the dials were off, oven was set to off etc. had to unplug it. now i gotta go buy a new oven. it's so old they don't make parts for it anymore. at least not after searching the 3 or 4 on line appliance parts places.. i find the parts or various parts but "no longer available" or whatever. reading reviews of all these new ovens and there's like a ton of shit reviews. "glass door randomly exploded", "temperature not calculated correctly so everything burns" etc etc.. every brand has 60%ish good reviews and the rest are 3 or 4 stars and a bunch of 1 star reviews. they all seem to suck and be poorly made.. at least all the ones in my price range... the standard version won't cut it for you? i can't remember but i thought the only difference was advanced can do surround formats or something? oh just looked.. it has the ambience match and dialogue isolate and a handful of other things. hmmm. https://www.izotope.com/en/products/rx/features.html#compare

    Music for Chakras edit: i don't think it sounds bad. i can see someone not liking the sound of his voice but he sticks to a pretty tight range. i'm kinda indifferent on it. wouldn't mind hearing an instrumental version though.
