mcdavid is ridiculous in all facets of the game. more of a pure goal scorer than crosby i think. i used to watch the penguins a decent amount and crosby has skills. perhaps stronger on the puck? idk. i've only seen a long stream of mcdavid highlights and fewer games. the league is stacked w/talent. been fun to watch this season. being from miami i've paid more attention to the Panthers who are playing on the rush and have a crazy transition game and defensemen cheat in on the attack. crazy end to end hockey.

live somewhere cheap. might be miserable about the town you live in but enjoy the time you have to make music. i've always chipped away at tracks when i worked full time. also found ways to make simple set ups that were productive. so i could jam and create a lot of stuff and then chip away at it and work on it until it was done. many times i had no social life. other times i was more balanced. then at some point i found an apartment and had flatmate and he was a slob and i didn't really like living in the place and sharing space but it was cheap and i was able to work part time and make more tunes. it gets more difficult as you get older because everything does unless you fall into a pile of money somehow. it helps to have a partner to share rent with and living expenses or even better a music collaborator. you'll figure it out. everyone finds their balance w/it eventually. just try to enjoy it and make the most of whatever time you have,.

watch the stanley cup playoffs. it's another level of speed and insanity. it's amazing.

have read and seen some tv stuff about his hawaii estate and how he's gobbling up land there. seems a dick move ay? considering colonialism and how land has changed hands and passed down in indigenous families there property rules far from norm for westerners.. he's kinda steamrolling some of that in places.. it's fucked really. thiel is a fuckn fascist. fuck that guy.
