logan lucky this was good until hilary swank showed up. she is so fucking bad in this. she's playing an fbi agent like a robot has possessed a human body and is pretending to be clint eastwood, and she has this weird gruff vocal affectation where she talks with a monotone southern drawl out of one side of her mouth. it's the most distracting character work i've seen in a long time, to the point that i couldn't really focus on the movie anymore and actually started to resent it.

hannibal was so pretentious it broke through into some kind of abstract camp. loved the first two seasons. ridiculous show. third season didn't fully deliver on the yaoi hentai potential, i was expecting a full on gay sex scene by the end, instead i got an evanescence video.

it's not about scaring people anymore. it's about educating them. we need the queen's story. how did she rise through the patriarchy of xeno society? are all the aliens softboy male feminists? are predators mgtow? these are the questions that need answering. -
good time this was kind of hilarious. i enjoyed it but it tries hard to be very grim and miserable and comes off ridiculous. i'm not familiar with the safdie bros so maybe that's their thing but i found myself laughing through most of this and i don't feel like that was the intention. thor ragnarok enjoyed this in spite of myself. still too long like every marvel movie but it felt more like a comic book than most of the stuff they've put out. the thor movies are probably the best marvel films outside of iron man for this reason. imo
