  1. I coordinated several successful moon missions with a couple of these in the 80s.
  2. Hm, sounds like the headline should rather be something along the lines of "Denis Villeneuve Says, Fuck Knows When this Frickin' Movie Will Be out". Does he though?
  3. If it's any consolation, instructions have actually gotten easier in recent years, with the respective steps being highlighted and brightly colored bricks used for foundations etc. to facilitate orientation. So no excuses anymore, time to dig in! ??
  4. First world solution: Get a receiver with dynamic eq.
  5. The melody has a strong Lauer vibe, but I don't know the track. Could indeed be some unreleased edit or Tuff City Kids treatment maybe. Sorry and good luck, let us know if you find out. Edit: You might try checking some other Gerd Janson sets from the time (I'm sure it's him and not Ata dropping the track) and see if he played it more often and if there are tracklists available for those sets.
  6. Let's not forget about Kentucky Fried Movie and Amazon Women on the Moon!

  8. How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast). There are good shows on Netflix, and this is an example of one. Clever, contemporary, and doesn't take itself too seriously, which makes it genuinely funny. S02 picks up where S01 ended and is just as entertaining. Definitely worth a try.
  9. Haha, I wanted to say the same; Frank Miller's involvement prompted me to give this a try, but it's cheesier than fucking gorgonzola. The intro was so cringey already, and then I didn't make it through the first scene. So bad. It actually made me respect FM a bit less, even though the collaboration probably didn't extend far beyond his contributing a couple of illustrations for the novel this is based on. Still, to lend your name to something like this ... yikes.
  10. Nah, TV sets are still too cheap for a revolution (televised or not).
  11. Interesting; I was wondering why these liminal spaces images don't seem to work on me at all when he explained the importamce of cultural context. And indeed, I found the Russian ones far more eerie even though I'm from central Europe. If anything, these pictures strongly remind me of maps in FPS games or some levels in The Last of Us or even Dead Space (sic).
  12. Looks like it went straight to Napoli.
  13. I ordered 12H by Donato Dozzy from Presto!? Records via Bandcamp in October 2019, and it hasn't arrived yet. Mailman must ring any minute.
  14. I had completely forgotten about Covenant, which is probably not a good sign. Prometheus was at least visually appealing IMO. And no, I'm not talking about Michael Fassbender, ladies.
  15. NES incl. tube TV In case you have any doubts, this is really going to be an official set, btw.; set no. is 71374. Mario will be able to move while the background scrolls. It also ties in with 71360 Super Mario Starter Course Set. This is the next release under the 18+ label. Lego is really homing in on the more mature fans -- lots of cool big sets recently and in the near future. While my wallet gently weeps ... Edit: Well, that was quick. Official link with more official pictures: https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/nintendo-entertainment-system-71374
  16. Preposition's missing. You can watch a TV series, but you can't listen an album. Sorry, I'll go hide in mom's basement and self-flagellate again.
  17. This triggers my OCD every single time. It's just like "A few albums recently listened".
  18. I think the pair on his head are just regular glasses. Apparently he wore the sunglasses over them like one does.
  19. Oh, sorry, I was talking about This is England. Haven't seen Babylon.
  20. This being a Warp Film, it is of course mandatory viewing, and I think we can safely assume that everyone here has seen it! ?? I also found it better than the TV series (which actually has two more installments, TIE '88 and TIE '90). There's been talk about a TIE '00 movie to end it all, but fuck knows if that will ever come to be.
