Once again, we've seen the highest number of new infections in a single day as of yet, with the US being a major contributor. WHO reckons it's "very unlikely" that we'll be able to eradicate this thing. https://www.cnbc.com/2020/07/10/who-says-its-very-unlikely-countries-can-eradicate-the-coronavirus-right-now.html (The "right now" part at the end seems a bit like it was added by the press agency to boost morale.) When I was living in Cologne, I always tried to leave the city during carnival season. Now, I'm always tempted to do the same for a couple of weeks in the summer. Fortunately, I live pretty far away from the barffest.

Yeah, I happen to be based in Munich, and housing prices are completely absurd. You basically have to be a milionaire if you want to buy anything decent in the area. Everyone keeps waiting for the real estate bubble to burst, because it's been imminent for years, but it never does. Bit like new BOC album really. It's pretty darn beautiful though. You got the Alps right in front of you, lots of lakes around the area, and it's just a stone's throw to Italy, so I love it nonetheless.

Don't have a VR headset, but maybe it would be worth getting one just for that purpose. I'm kinda loathe to still invest in the PS4 though when the PS5 is just around the corner. I also have to admit I find the thought a little bit frightening. No issues with motion sickness?

How far is 40%? I've just met the black guy and his kid. Playing it for the second time, but I've forgotten much more than I remember. I also started replaying Wipeout HD Fury last night, dusted off the old PS3 and continued the (almost finished) campaign where I left years ago. Today as I was playing it occured to me that this really is my absolutely favorite video game of all time. I've played every version of it (except the Vita one), and I'm not ashamed to say that probably some of the best moments in my life involved getting high and playing Wipeout. Damn, I love that game, it just allows me to get in a flow state that is so serene. I really, really hope there'll be a new installment for PS5 eventually.
