  1. Neat. Which places did you travel yourself to?
  2. Everything ties perfectly. Even the lynchian moments have so much stuff behind them - this is pure archetype Jungian delirium. There is no need to analyze it, just open your mind and try to connect with yourself. This is the most lucid and artistic introspection into the darkness/lightness of human mind ever attempted imho. The form is perfect, the substance is relevant and strong. Lynch is probably at his peak here and I love him for that. I'm enjoying the hell out of it, and I'm happy that someone is willing to explore the less known or appreciated realms and bring them on screen. 20/10
  3. Did the US agencies release any proof about the Putin's involvement in this? All I read about are assessments. Would the disclosure of proof further jeopardize US position?
  4. Anyone knows what was the cause of death?
  5. I'm unable to wait for the blue-ray I don't own a Playstation Sling and DirectTV are US only So I'm left with double subscriptions and torrents But I want to support Lynch not two corporations in-between How about if I wire him some cash, you think that will work? :)
  6. All right, noob question here, since I live in a shack deep in Siberian woods: TP will be showtime exclusive, right? This means only they will stream it? So now I have to pay subscriptions for both Showtime and Youtube TV to be able to watch TP? Is there a more elegant option for it?
  7. I'm more and more convinced there are certain correlations between the richest 1% people in the world and guys who store magnum synths and never use them. Like they are the same kind of people.
  8. Allied Well... I was really looking forward to this and it looked very promising. I'm a sucker for ww2 drama like Casablanca and stuff. Turns out this really feels like a homage to Casablanca in some weird way, which is OK, but at the same time still weird because the script just... I don't know. I honestly have no idea what is missing in today films. They seem to have all the necessary ingredients (some) but either the ingredients are some GMOs or the cook doesn't really know how to cook that well. For instance, there is this senior outranking officer, a boss of Brad Pitt's character, but of course, he is more like a slacking father. OK I get it, Brad Pitt is some badass Wing Commander (RAF - although a Canadian), so full of manly features that you just have to step aside no matter what. The suspense is there but it could be so much more! They are spies in the middle of the hornet's nest for christ sake. How much more suspense-friendly environment can you ask for? But no, the film of course focuses on Marion Cotillard's character and how her methods inevitably make Brad Pitt fall in love with her. Because "wow, I get to kiss this gorgeous lady so that I don't blow my cover. Man, I love my job." So there you have it. Again, films to cater the real-life actors. I think that could be a problem with today films (or at least one of them). They are tailored to the actors. The characters are all about the actors and enhancing their real-life manufactured personas, sometimes going as far as making a certain film or a character just to please the vices of some actors that just have to play a role that will somehow more cater to their real-life ego more than make any sort of art form... Anyways, the chemistry (or the illusion of it), between Marion and Brad in the film is beautiful and for a brief moment there I thought I'd make my life mission to marry Marion Cotillard myself, but let's be real. sniffing coke at a party in 1943?/10
  9. the anus of a human male fixt nah, sorry blank; traps and all abstractions are mostly really fucked in the head. hey, acceptance is the first step. Girls are generally easier to trust than men, maybe it'll make it easier to sneak into Pizza Comet not even gurls can be trusted today meng
  10. Lol boipussy should've given it away...and tbh that meme was funny until the very last line when she mentions playing Dark Souls and then I for a moment I thought hmmm... damn what's a boipussy? I think I got this completely wrong. i'll see myself out.
  11. what's a trap gf? she seems nice. I must be getting old.
  12. meh, the 'problem' lies in-between. The fans scream they want more of this and that, but ultimately fail to articulate (or even comprehend) what they really want. On the other hand, the studios usually just go for the most obvious and fail to understand where the 'magic' came from. There was probably the same amount of 'wtf' about the many questions that the first Alien movie raised, but there was no internet to spread it like wildfire, so it remained more or less a heated pub debate among friends and soon forgotten. Now, with teh internets, all that info is always present and seems so critical towards the creators, which is consequently taken too seriously which tends to neglect the artistic component of minimalism in story telling and becomes this vast pile of complaint letters that studios ultimately shovel in the face of the creators saying "look how you screwed up, look at all those disgruntled idiots! they will never go to see another Alien movie thanks to you! Now, put more gore and fast-paced action in it and shut up." Anyways, Fassbender nailed it, I think he is one of the rare contemporary actors who understand.
  13. Aliens are a biological weapon, according to Weyland I still want to know if aliens eat tho... does the acid in their blood function as some kind of bio-battery? If so, do they ever run out of energy?
  14. That's fake, right? The VHS distortion is repeating the same pattern over and over. The beat and synth lines are pre-arranged in that DX7, right? Still pretty avantgarde, lol
  15. Yeah, this album... never heard of 1991 before, just randomly browsing yt one day and got intrigued by the cover art. Absolutely beautiful music, really soundtracking my life right now.:)
  16. lol Don't know if this is true but it sure is funny http://www.newyorker.com/humor/borowitz-report/queen-offers-to-restore-british-rule-over-united-states
  17. United States were always fascinated by Hitler, his regime and achievements. Especially the military which was copied and assimilated into their doctrine as far as it can go and then upgraded with immense funding. Hollywood went beyond in-your-face propaganda and achieved a level of political and socio-economical think tank that even Goebbels would be proud of. Their state security and national security agencies are triple of what the Sturmabteilung, Abwehr or the SS (SD) achieved. Comparing Trump to Hitler is ridiculous, Trump is a clown, Hitler had a vision and intelligence. He was criminal, but so are all leaders. There wasn't a single country in the history of mankind which achieved their set political goals without criminal activity and ethnical discrimination. USA is no exception.
  18. dunno, it didn't seem that purposefully ambiguous, although you never really know eh... watch it if you haven't Redruth, it's definitely a quaint story.
