    it would be nice, i tend to be way too disorganized when making music to even allow for this. people who mix and master professional music usually have decades of experiencing doing only that, it definitely counts and a lot of it you cant just learn by watching videos or reading books.

    can anybody recommend good Justice League runs or graphic novels? Most of them seem shit when i browsed through the comic book store today. Im a big fan of the 'what if' style of justice league stories like alternate dimensions/worlds just picked up the first book of Batman '66 blind, hope its not awful

    Opn has someone else mixing his stuff? since when? I always though some of Squarepusher's material from the past 5 years or so could have benefitted from someone else mixing it, but i always just assume most electronic artists mix their own stuff (probably a dumb assumption on my part)

    his older routine used to be way more edgy, which is part of why it was interesting to see the negative reactions to his last SNL monologue (which if you compare to some of his stuff from 2005-2010 seems super tame in comparison).

    as i posted in the other thread, im pretty convinced the allegations are real after i dug up some pretty wild and/or perverted admissions Louie gave on episodes of the Opie and Anthony show from years ago, One of them included him breaking into the apartment next door to where he grew up (it was occupied by two female nurses) and he admitted to jerking off and cumming into their underwear and spending the rest of the day 'hating himself' . If you're interested in hearing go to the louie thread. I'm kind of glad i came out the other end of that and am still able to appreciate his comedy. If more proof or allegations come out im gonna feel bad for people who refuse to believe it. Smart of him to delete twitter ahead of the story, damage control attempt definitely is working (for now) Gawker are not the type of people to go back into O & A archives, if they did their story would have been way more convincing.

    thought the movie was weird as shit, but also good. It gave me a very different view of Greenwald and Snowden afterwards not one that I can articulate without sounding extremely paranoid. I wish they would have kept some stuff in the movie of Laura and Greenwald grilling snowden on how he could prove this wasn't some kind of elaborate hoax or honeytrap (he claims they talked at length to make sure it wasn't). If i was in that situation it would be very hard to convince me I wasn't being set up by someone claiming to be an NSA defector. it was technically well done, really minimalistic, loved that aspect, but i found it very revealing in all the wrong ways (even Greenwald's excitement about whats about to happen in his career over the snowden leaks disgusted me a bit. I like greenwald and respect him but my gut reaction was that the dude had dollar signs in his eyes during many parts of the doc)

    he did but its sort of a widely held 'belief' among comedians that Carlin's work for the last 10 years became essentially rehashes of not only his earlier work but pretty typical 'non-pc' reactionary stuff (that people like Dennis Leary after stealing Bill Hicks act already turned into an almost self parody). people who consider him a genius usually look to his actual standup comedy from the first 2/3rds of his career, not as much his later bitter lectures (when a lot of them feel like he was just phoning in)

    that weird stoicism he always had in the Cosby show and in his standup seemed 'funny' to me growing up because it seemed to be a total put on with no rhyme or reason. Almost like the way a precocious child would act to impress or get control of a room full of adults. but looking back on that vibe puts a totally new creepy as fuck spin on it

    same, in part because if he actually did (and i still have a hard time believing it) innocently hang out with so many young kids and sleep in the same bed with them (non sexually, again hard pill to swallow) it would be very easy to make a believable accusation. the most interesting thing i've ever seen on michael jackson came from louie theorux. apparently Martin Bashir and Louie were both competing to get a big exclusive interview with Michael, and Michael's team decided on Bashir since they thought Louie would try to embarrass him. In the special Louie gets in contact with a scottish fan who used to have phone sex with Michael before Thriller came out (when this fan happened to be only 14 years old still living at home). He met michael doing a fan made tape recorded interview at a concert on tour and they stayed in touch for years (and it ended up getting out into the papers i believe after the kids parents found out). Its very possible to me Michael was gay and leaned towards young men or older boys, but in terms of proof that he molested or raped pre-teen children its hard to say definitively.

    honestly this is really the only explanation that makes sense at this point, except deepdream could get us a little bit closer. thats the only aberration to what you describe ive seen in literally the last decade. the state of plugin/DSP audio development is so abysmal that the clockwork machine elves must be purposefully sabotaging people's brains like the mythical gremlins that would cause air disasters during world war II. besides actual mental retardation, its the only thing to explain the 90% of space being taken over by analog emulation fancy gui panel VSts
