  1. LP11. I hope it doesn't sound selfish, but I really hope there's an accompanying EP, just like with all the other albums. That's always the [good] icing on the cake. I don't really think they can go too wrong with tDR artwork either. The minimalist with a wonky twist style works quite well and isn't ever too much to take in. As for the Oversteps discussion, it's certainly not an album I feel will net them more fans, but it's a good album that's very cohesive. It does drag on a bit at parts though. Edit: I am excite.

I work out to Draft 7.30 and so far I've not put on any mass. :(((((

To me it's their album with probably their best tracks but also suffers from the same thing Confield does (for me) in that some of them drag on for a bit too long. However, they're all easily interesting enough to listen through and some of them are entirely mentally gripping to the point where they limit my ability to multitask, whether because I like them so much or they're that engaging and complex. Like how 6IE.CR on the surface is [mostly] some looping beat, but once you can devote all of your attention to it, it's this whole shifting animal. Also, IV VV IV VV VIII:
  4. It's like I just watched people LARPing outside of a -con. They were all animés.
  5. Your use of the past tense is inappropriate. And posts like that are annoying as fuck, like when Joyrex would flaunt his BOC connections without ever saying what they were about. That is just showing off, or lying -- you pick. Sometimes the ease with which WATMM can be trolled makes me sad. I don't always write people off like this because there was that one guy that posted in the Plaid subforum about a listening party or whatever of Scintilli about two-three months before it came out and he was completely right and it was awesome.
  6. Holy fuck do I love Topaz. Acid Surf Dream is wonderful too and one of the first tracks that got me liking Andy.
  7. Sorry for the bump, but I finally figured out which song this is. It's called "Burrs In My Tail Piss Me Off".
  8. I feel this needs more love. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_dbxtWRJRkI
  9. I don't think that was really pretentious or cringeworthy. The part about the last half of a song just being "Bike" was one of the better parts as well as Yuop "being the whole album played in reverse."
  10. I've found the more typical tracks on this album to be lacking compared to those on Rossz in that the drum programming seems lazier.
  11. When I last listened to the Fool the Detector EP, I noticed a lot of programming/sounds similar to that of HCCBU on the title track. This pleased me. I agree with this.
  12. Cats from when I lived with my mom three years ago. I miss them dearly. WATMM always needed more cats.
  13. The past inside the present.
  14. Quaristice Draft 7.30 Oversteps LP5 Confield Amber Untilted Incunabula Chiastic Slide Tri Repetae I really don't care for Tri Repetae in the least. Chiastic Slide is full of hit or miss tracks, mostly miss (the only ones I remember liking are Hub, Rettic AC, and Pule). The rest rank much above them in basically that order.
  15. :sup: drop the bass :sup: Was waiting for that. lol I'm surprised, WATMM. No one has told him to cut himself yet.
  16. Yeah but usually we get good albums as well as the bad ones, whereas this year it's been two re-releases, Gerald Donald's weakest release ever, and Monolith, with Monolith coming at the end of the year. It sets it up as something huge, when it's really not something THAT special. I don't think that's a very fair assumption. That's more of a construct created by the consumers than those that are releasing it.
  17. I don't mean to say it in a trollish-manner, but why are you mad?
  18. Zunker is from 2008. Farewell Frenchman is from AT LEAST the time that Mike Paradinas mix came out (summer 2010?).
