  1. Find a band that wants to do it, then get them to email the booking agent asking if they happen to know any hardcore bands looking for an opener on that specific date.
  2. "If you gaze deep into the social media the social media also gazes into you."
  3. DJ fucked off with my credit card, girlfriend, car, everything. How could this happen. (plays Italo disco, mostly.)
  4. It's sort of like Rammstein without the heavy guitars. I would drive to it. On the grittier side, Test Dept's 1984 debut album has got to be one of the greatest industrial albums of all time. They don't get nearly enough credit. It's a really intense, bleak and fascinating listen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KHncvspcvok
  5. Wumpscut had so much potential. It got really cheesy, really fast, but some of his early stuff was genuinely unnerving. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R9fCYF9mNbo ...I mean, I guess this song is kind of cheesy too, but also kind of awesome. Like classic B movie zombi flicks.
  6. I haven't heard a lot of newer industrial that's really grabbed me, but Youth Code caught my ear. Very Skinny Puppy influenced, maybe a bit ATR inspired too. Not quite 2018, but only a couple years off: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WWUzL8ni1P4 Also, had no idea their vocalist was female... she's got quite the feral scream.
  7. Fucking next level. Connect 4 meme-a-thon was devastating.
  8. *FLA fist bump* I went through all my FLA CDs earlier this year when I was getting acquainted with my new van's stereo. So good! I really enjoy everything up to and including Implode. That album was my introduction to them. The production on that one was pretty ahead of the game. Placticity is such a classic. The Haujobb remix off that single is killer too.
  9. And then somehow this would have been the huge hit that transformed a generation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XjYGpTkoRVw&list=PL0A9F72942C4C1AD2&index=3 And then harmonica everywhere.
  10. That song on the Beavis and Butthead soundtrack would have been called I Ate Myself and Want Some Pie.
  11. Spin Doctors and Gin Blossoms should team up and form a band that plays prog rock renditions of Aphex Twin remixes.
  12. It'll be a while before I get to my second listening of All End, but I recall those reverbs containing a crazy amount of information in them. It's like they were working on their most melodically complex track to date and then decided to just wash it all out with the biggest reverb they could find it needed to be more casual.
  13. This is probably the very incident that inspired him to write "Break Stuff". Pancake houses were like his Compton.
  14. I sure hope one of these names works out for OP.
  15. There will come a day when Ae finally slow down, and I'll be happy I didn't overfamiliarize myself with Ae Live and Elseq. I really am working on this one though.
  16. I'm only on my second listen through, just finished nts1 again. Is anyone treating these as 4 double albums? ie. just absorbing #1 for the next few months before moving onto the next? Considering my listening habits that probably would have been a good way to go about this, along with their last 2 releases. I'm still not at all familiar with either Ae Live or that other one that came after it.
  17. DJ Penis Bread AKA DJ I hope those are sesame seeds playing a rare set: They are poppy seeds fyi.
