I hope the new Twin Peaks sets a new precedent and 1-ups every show we have seen in the past 20 years. I watched the first episode and might carry on, but from what I have read it just seems a bit too safe. Agreed that the soundtrack is fairly fun though.

IMO all autechre albums would have been 3 hours long if that was the capacity of a CD. Now free from the constraints of multiples of 80 minutes, they can release tracks at whatever lengths they like. Quaristice could have easily been a 4 hour long jam album, and kinda was once you add in the quadrangle stuff. I guess that was them testing the water.

Ok so he outlasted my original (sceptical) forecast. I actually hope he does get through this - a lot of people seem to like him, and in todays fucked up political climate, that is a good thing.
