  1. GREY META COMPILATION (supporting Ukraine and Yemen) The Anti-Imperialism Schism by Grey Meta Tracks by Anorak, Ars Dada, Azrak, Dolphin, Jacob, MacheeeN Boi, Mathlovsky, ReturnCodeZero, Seppa, S.Murk, Stazma and Technoist.
  2. And EU sanctions And UK And Canada And Japan, Taiwan, NZ and Australia. And the massive list of international corporations, sports, and trade federations. By invading an independent country based on lies and grandiose power dillusions, Russia has chosen to close itself off from (the majority of ) the world. The economy is crumbling, the army is a farce, and the civilians who are caught in the middle will suffer for decades to come. You cannot spin that any other way.
  3. Dang, was hoping the 2nd show would be on the Saturday, would have been much easier for me to get too.
  4. I came to it late, but it's still been part of my life for over 20 years.
  5. Yeah I missed out. I had the seat plan up and there were a few available dots, I clicked one and it said it was already gone. Tried another that one too... then i refreshed and gone. Ah, what can you do hey. but will they see it in the darkness.
  6. ever-shifting granules of processed white noise Isn't that still white noise? Unless you filter it of course... in which case... it's no longer white noise.... Sounds good though ?
  7. I released a free-to-download 3 track EP which channels my thoughts on the senseless invasion of Ukraine. Not quite noise wall, but definitely dark noise....
  8. Also..., presumably in the Barbican the sound quality is pretty great, so you don't have to be front and centre since the gig is in darkness anyway.... unless all the Zoviet France fans are mad keen to be up there.
  9. That was a weird venue, loads of deadly steps and small bar areas iirc. Re-entry queue was massive after Flying Lotus so just stayed in there all day. Luke Vibert was on as well? Good times. Actually don't remember much about the actual set, other than it being really busy and mostly dark (but shit loads of Emergency Exit lights....)
  10. Photos are misleading, I am guessing it is a single C40 cassette (and not 2xC20 cassettes as the photo suggests)? Also the image they use looks more like a C60+ but I guess thats just a mock-up anyway.
  11. One of the gig reviews on the barbican / songkick is pure gold
  12. News that Russia have bombed a childrens hospital, including maternity ward. This is getting very, very dark.
  13. Barbican for London - so seated gig similar to the last UK tour. Personally I prefer the sweaty warehouse vibes, the Bocking St venue in London 2010 was awesome.
  14. Yeah I didnt order yet sorry - I've not got a job so im on a strict budget. Hopefully that changes soon though
  15. I recorded a noisy weird thing for the wonder valley experimental festival.... the legendary Arachnopus created a fantastic video using some of my recordings taken around Dartmoor National Park in Devon, UK. Great fun! Tune in and check out all of the awesome during the streamed event on the 1st, then if you happen to be in California why not head over on the 2nd for some meatspace action.
  16. Currently finishing up my Environmental Sustainability course. So on a positive note.... The entire Russian Gas & Oil monopoly is giving me plenty to talk about for the case studies.
  17. In that case, this is an interesting news article from 2 weeks ago, foreshadowing today's events https://thebell.io/en/kremlin-push-to-increase-control-over-the-internet/
  18. Issue 3 is out now via Limited Run and Bandcamp, links via my blog. Excited to get this one out there!
  19. Part of the Russian plan to remove electric power from Ukraine, so in the future they can sell them more gas and oil. Imagine how petrifying it would have been, working in the power plant and hearing shells hitting the building.
  20. Kinda like how Trump started on the Apprentice?
  21. Wow, they have a share of Discord too. They are literally everywhere, which is pretty scary shit really.
  22. Agreed its not always good that basement geeks are living out Neo style fantasies hacking into Russian databases, as you may actually hamper the abilities of the actual government agencies who are trying to do such things... but yes, anything that helps Ukraine gain an upper hand over Russia at this point is a good thing. Hopefully Russian resources get stretched so far that civilians start going rogue and there will be mass strikes. Like, if suddenly nobody turns up for work, Putin will just be sat there on his big table all by himself.
