  1. Me too. And I still make and sell CDr's. Thoughts on bandcamp: Fuck does this mean I've actually got to download all 643 releases I've paid for on there just in case they do some shady shit where I start losing stuff I've not listened too, or artist start pulling releases like on spotify.....
  2. I created a free to download harsh noise EP to channel my feelings over the unfolding crisis. стіна by Postman Lomu
  3. Woodford Halse "Undulating Waters" back catalogue available for a tenner. Buy it on Bandcamp Friday for maximum impact! Undulating Waters 1-7 (all proceeds to the British Red Cross Ukrainian Crisis Appeal) by Woodford Halse
  4. Banging Jungle Tune from Ohm Resistance Heroes of Snake Island (iди нахуй) by Submerged Ukrainian Electronics discography by Timur, which I am listening to now and some of these are excellent. It's cool to see his progression as an artist - there is an edit of Zurich 2001 by Autechre on here that is a really abrasive noise piece. Supported. Life by John Object
  5. Sad times indeed. Saw him plenty of times across 1999 - 2004 and he always rinsed the party. He knew when to shut up and let a tune do the talking as well which was always a great MC skill! RIP
  6. This plane is (was) often contracted out around the globe to deliver unusual large / heavy cargo. I have seen it a few times in the UK at RAF Brize Norton. So, its kinda symbolic to blow this up.
  7. Finally got around to watching Room 237, followed by Doctor Sleep. Enjoyed both, and watching 237 first made me appreciate a lot of the eggs laid in Doc Sleep (room 217, the doctors office at the hospice where Danny works etc) So, great fan service and not a bad film tbf.
  8. This is the scariest thing I have read in a long time. I know an English family who are stuck in Moscow. All flights have been cancelled and they are running out of money. They have 2 kids with them! Nightmare. Hope they find somewhere to hide this out.
  9. I hope that the russian people rise up against Putin. I know many get arrested straight away, but theres no way the police force could arrest everyone. After a few weeks of this the police will be strung out and tired, some may even end up being sent into the war if extra men are needed. Take down the Kremlin.
  10. Ah yes new to me as well - excellent.
  11. This was my downfall for years. I had to clear everything away after finishing as I had to use the kitchen table. Now it's kinda easier as i've got a space to leave it set up. Having it there ready to jam with is 50% of the battle
  12. Nice cheers for that, i'm currently studying an Environmental Sustainability course and the "plastic free community" paper will be very useful.
  13. SNOWPIERCER S3!!! I know its complete trash but I cant help but hate watch it. Can't quite pinpoint what it is exactly but I just have to see what happens
  14. I quite like that preview track. The release blurb says its more industrial focused than previous work so I reckon I will enjoy this one
  15. OK just sat and watched the first episode. Had never heard of America First or any of these streaming guys. But an interesting documentary and just shows how powerful the net can be for underground politics to mobilise people. Far too many shots of Louis's face looking stoney blank or lightly confused / worried though. Sometimes I wish he would push these guys even more, but I guess he doesn't wanna get beaten up. His cameraman is probably also his security guard.
  16. Damn yeah. They done cats and dogs, maybe this time its a Goat.
  17. I often get so disappointed with films that I rarely bother anymore.
  18. cant believe the Alien:Earth thing is happening as well. It's basically gonna be the walking dead but with Ayleens instead of Walkers. And here's the cast: Strong female lead Goofy joker guy who ends up being heroic Science guy who develops a thing Sleezy myserious guy who ends up being a Weyland Yutani mole Cool looking warrior lady who you think might be lesbian interest to strong female lead but turns out to be an "artificial person" Couple of young kids who grow up as the series goes on, one of them dies Lance Henrikson
  19. 6 years later and i'm still making zines! Issue 3 of Intrusive Signals is coming March 2022. Excited for this one. In depth interviews and art from: Scum Alice Himukalt Chlorine Brachliegen Tapes Words from me on: Tyrannic Horizon Split release culture Coldsore Also: Lucidet - maze artwork Neurographic Art from JT And some other last minute bits that might creep in
  20. It annoys me how they repackage previously released music just to flog some records. I suspect some people may buy this not even realising they already have it
  21. The venue they use now is nice, I went to the AllPoints festival a few years back and saw Jon Hopkins, Chemical Brothers, DMX Krew and Roisin Murphy. Top day out actually, loads of sambuca and good food. it will be a fun day, but I cannot go this year. We found a pub just around the corner from the park to have a cheeky few pints in beforehand and meet up, also did half decent food.
  22. New album dropped on Friday https://prurient.bandcamp.com/album/creationist Ridiculous noise head 6xCS+7" format..,.. (based upon the 7 days of creation so stylistically there is a reason).... or digital that I opted for... ? Upon initial flick through listen it does sound like the true successor to the excellent Rainbow Mirror album from 2017. Keen to play this through next, the DOOM ELECTRONICS tag has me salivating at what could be in store given how much influence I took from Rainbow Mirror
