  1. The media still wheel out Diana specials every year, so I'm afraid we will never hear the end of this
  2. Tried starting to read that but so many adverts and pop ups
  3. I'll pay respects to someone who was born into a job and stuck at it for 70 years, taking equal amounts of love, vitriol and ridicule from the people who lived under her "rule". She was dedicated and kept it professional despite her family being as fucked up as everyone elses.
  4. Just watching Event Horizon again, love it. Scary and well executed. Just been reading about the potential director's cut but it seems like a fanboy dream. There's some deleted scenes on a recent blu ray which are pretty cool (with unfinished VFX). In fact I'm having flashbacks, this may have already been discussed in this mammoth thread before. Also, the soundtrack is really good Edit: Soundtrack was by Orbital, damn, I never knew that. Also features Prodigy in the end credits. Event Horizon Ost https://amzn.eu/d/7mYDz1O
  5. 90 minutes of discussion with the LIttlebig man, well worth a listen
  6. Very young kids probably don't know what an Attorney is though. I'm guessing if I watch this. It won't be explained to me either
  7. Yeah loved the 90s version. Watched it so much as a teenager
  8. Really fun app! You can find my home station on here, SoundArt in Devon, UK.
  9. Trying to watch my way through Stranger Things 4 but the long ass episodes feel like a drag and the humour has mainly gone. Season 1 was great but it's become more and more of a drag
  10. Saw him perform live at the weekend, wow it was proper powerful. He had a mixer desk, sampler and CDJ, plus guitar and vocals. Crazy loud performance, loved it. Gonna dig for some of his new music.
  11. Yeah boing Saw this on an email at the weekend as it popped up on boomkat. Digging on my first listen (as expected) and I shall hopefully grab a copy soon before it sells out.
  12. Inspired by the dark folk horror tales of Dartmoor, the national park in Devon, UK. 4 tracks each by myself and Distraxi arranged over 70 minutes. Forged from noise, industrial loops, found sounds, field recordings and analogue abstractions. I am pleased with how this project came together. Harsh indusrial soundscapes for harsh natural landscapes. Limited CDr copies available, I also have some Bandcamp codes if anyone wants to trade / barter / blag
  13. Belfunk is quality. Might have to go listen to the whole XPander EP actually. Edit: Charlie May co produced, as he did with the Wavy Gravy album, which I also love.
  14. Well there is definitely an element of lazy remixing at the moment. Modern DJs wishing to use classics in their sets, but since the production sounds dated they just sprinkle some compression magic dust and beef up the kicks and call it job done. EG Urgghhh this video annoys me. 6 minutes of 2 people pretending to DJ whilst a track they produced plays out.
  15. I like Smiley. Will pick up the 2xCD. Looks like a good collection to leave in the car
  16. Airstrike 1: kills 7 children, an aid worker and 2 other innocent adults in Kabul Airstrike 2; kills Ayman al-Zawahiri. We got him!
  17. Dang twitch does this often.
  18. Well I watched the trailer and now I feel I've seen the entire film
  19. Yeah I gave up around e4 but I know people who follow it religiously now
  20. What if it's a deepfake that Saen made with some AI, does that still count as aethentic?
