    Hey thank you for the message Damo ! I'm working in Toulouse's hospital (4th biggest french city for the non-french watmmers) and things seem to be in control right now but it will probably get really tough, really quick. I know this is something everybody is hearing right now but this thing is really brutal and we really need to respect the social distance measures. And that's coming from a soon-to-be doctor who didn't think the Covid outbreak would be a problem few weeks ago lol. Cheers to everyone !

    The 100% software thing is not that big deal imho but I would like to see them using a new set of tools, their output from Exai onwards sounds sometimes a bit similar to my ears and I don't see how they would manage to make it sound new again, especially after releasing 8 hours of A++ material

    So how's everyone going ? Week 6 was quite hard for me to pull out mostly because I have very little spare time at the moment and sometimes it almost feels cruel making music when I have plenty of other things to do lol. But it's a beautiful exercise !!!     Yes there are several Kraftwerk samples, the trans europe express percussion of course, telephone bells from the "Telephone Call", vocals from The Robots and other synths from Computer World. Perfect medley haha

    I tend to see this album as a collection of sub-ensembles. Like Oberlove / Hitsonu could be an EP of its own, those are the tracks I listen to the most atm. The sequence from Vortrack to Mekrev Bass could be another very brutal EP. Everything fits well on the album but it offers multiple entry points, I love it.

    Holy shit Mekrev Bass is the Vortrack remix I never knew I needed lol. Album is a killer. I'll probably loose some of my hearing listening to it LOUD with headphones haha

    Holy shit the Terminal Slam video is epic. The track itself feels kind of an answer to the way Richard processed drums on the Collapse EP. Can't wait to discover the album in its entirety ?

    OK knowing that it leaked made me wanna pre-order the album on the bleepstore lol, never do that usually but I'm craving for that high quality NTS mix haha. I guess besides Vortrack the NTS mix is 100% exclusives that aren't on the album ?

    It has begun! I'm gonna try to really commit myself into the challenge this year, no more excuses to not do any music since I have more portable and flexible gear that can pop some sounds really quickly (looking at you, OP-Z!!!)

    Speaking of vic acid, his first tweet is a link to vicacid.net which seems to be a blog containing some visuals he did (?) I thought the album announcement would come within a few days but WATMM is ahead of its time haha Edit : I didn't see there already was a whole thread discussing the vicacid website sorry!!

    Album is dope, been listening to it 5 or 6 times already and I like it more and more. Full of energy, it has a good flow and I enjoy every single track on that release which never happened before with a Battles album lol
