OK so after a few minutes playing : you can choose between a "modern" version (with a tutorial for the different moves and the ability to rewind your gameplay when you die) or the 1993 original. And the 1993 original version has the original Megadrive OST so I'm a happy man ! The SFX are different so its not 100% the same thing but still !

Holy shit thank you for the information !! Flashback is one of my favorite games, I recently unearthed my Megadrive to play it again lol but at this price it's a steal. The only problem imo is that the "remastered" soundtrack sounds very bad compared to the Megadrive OST... But I guess that's just me being nostalgic !

So yesterday someone posted a trance/dnb remix of Mutant Standard and his track was shared on social media by OPN himself. It's the 8+ minutes of Mutant Standard with added drums/breaks and it's really really well made !!! -
OK, after that listening party I can definitely say that the album is DOPE. Clearly wasn't expecting so much variety coming from a Lorenzo Senni album. Usually I find his sound design tiring after a few listens (even tho I love the tracks) and it's rare that I can listen to one of his album start to finish, but this one is way different. And the man himself seem like a very nice and fun guy haha.

Haha yeah, it's both disappointing that the site doesn't work AND quite a good news if they got overwhelmed by the number of people interested in this release. My pre order got dispatched today, can't wait for it to arrive ?

Lorenzo's music had the same effect on me, it was really puzzling at first but then I realized I couldn't get the songs out of my head haha. The preview tracks are awesome, can't wait for the album !

I listened to Zagreb this afternoon and it's my favorite of the batch for now. Such a great pacing, and the hard-hitting parts hit even harder !! I still have to listen to Helsinki though.

I thought MaxMSP had the Ableton Link compatibility ? Never tried it myself and not sure if that would be enough for the powerhouse that is the Ae System but hey, that would be huge.

Yeah I'm currently listening to Dublin, it feels way more cohesive to me than Melbourne so far... Column Thirteen was one of my favorite tracks from the NTS Sessions and I'm so happy with those live takes

Hell yeah that synth arpeggio track halfway through Nijmegen is the grooviest Ae I've heard in a while. Can't wait to discover the other sets !! Thank you a billion times Serguei and Romuald

Old those recent track share a kind of mourning feeling but they are incredibly lush. s8v1 is beautiful !!!

Didn't thought of Debussy at first but now you say it I wouldn't be surprised ! Definitely some drops in Rachmaninoff pieces but his works are more recent !

I always wanted to start a thread dedicated to the search of the most ancient drop in music history. Like dubstep drops but in classical music. Never did it because I don't think there are many pieces of music answering those specifications lol

Hey thank you for the message Damo ! I'm working in Toulouse's hospital (4th biggest french city for the non-french watmmers) and things seem to be in control right now but it will probably get really tough, really quick. I know this is something everybody is hearing right now but this thing is really brutal and we really need to respect the social distance measures. And that's coming from a soon-to-be doctor who didn't think the Covid outbreak would be a problem few weeks ago lol. Cheers to everyone !

The 100% software thing is not that big deal imho but I would like to see them using a new set of tools, their output from Exai onwards sounds sometimes a bit similar to my ears and I don't see how they would manage to make it sound new again, especially after releasing 8 hours of A++ material
