a casio sk1 connected to

tape recorder ( for sampling)

little speakers for monitoring tape recorder

all this into audiophhile 24/96

and arranged in sony acid pro 7.0

 

 

thinking about sampling my nanoloop, just have to plug it into the tape recorder and record onto tape

awesome. do you mic up the buttons on the 707? zole

ooh, nice tape loop setup. are you running a keyboard through that vox amp? if so that's excellent. also, what are those two red pianos? just toys? they look interesting.

Grats man! You will love it. I haven't used any other synth since I got my Polar.

 

its already completely changed my workflow for the better.

 

it sounds amazing, its fun to use, and seamlessly integrates into Logic.

 

im actually kind of kicking myself for not getting one sooner. I love my nords to death, cause I can do all sorts of stuff with them, but the virus is now my workhorse synth, and the G2s are for specialty stuff

I've run some synths through the Vox, sounds nice! Haven't recorded anything from it yet. Need to get a decent amp mic first.

The two pianos are toy pianos yea, nice wee bell sounds.

i'm going to start working entirely in cool edit/adobe audition.

 

i love how you can edit in the program and usually only use it for post production but i have used it on some tracks almost entirely, and those tracks i really liked

get an sm57! they're great for amps.

 

They're great for almost anything, or at the very least, serviceable. It's just so damn versatile and damn-near indestructible.
