A master of the sonic â€œquick changeâ€, JDSY, aka Joey Sims, continues to captivate listeners with his kinetic array of musical concepts that evolve at a pace that would prove difficult for a lesser artist to maintain. He makes it look easy. Even though most of his tracks fall well under the prototypical â€œpop songâ€ length, Joey manages to flutter through numerous sonic ideas in a single breath. Keeping the melodies engaging and the hooks infectious, he stops only momentarily to blow the listeners mind in a grand finale of sonic fireworks before putting the idea neatly to rest to pursue the next. This ginsu-precise act is akin to a young and energetic Björk or Aphex Twin at his most experimental. And yet, he manages to never come off as too esoteric.

His beats stay accessible, his voice enigmatic and haunting.
