I have read of many problems with people uploading the firmware and it not installing etc but it doesn’t brick the MD - it’s mainly caused by the speed of upload over midi (no usb) so it needs to be tweaked in some instances. I think don’t panic is the order of the day The best quote from the dev’s IMO was the line ‘hi hats can do baselines now!!’ Also reading the devs posts the idea of ‘new’ machines is being looked at and they are busy learning how they are coded. cern Posted March 10, 2021 Share Posted March 10, 2021 I did this upgrade yesterday and it runs 100% Every pattern, kits, samplebanks and sysex was still in the machine. The GND-machines is so tasty and with the unisonmode and pitch control it is easy to get gritty bass and nice chords. It feels like I have a little Monomachine inside!
