I don't go home to a dark room and listen to it and block the sun out, but I think depressing music has an extra dimension to it that other music doesn't. I actually find this music can be uplifting. Just like most blokes I like jogging around the bbq in summer, wearing bermuda shorts, showering my guests with beer and doing high fives while the Beach Boys Sloop John B, Jerry Lee Lewis Great Balls of Fire and Bryan Adams Summer of 69 plays in the background.
