how do they deal with Cannabis possession/use in the states? did he get in any trouble? or not really.... ?

I'd be more impressed if he killed a hooker live on TV.

i'd be more impressed if he did a shit on the desk then flung pieces of it into the audience. now that would be awesome. lol

 people will vote tomorrow on legalization and taxation in CA which is one of the most fertile and productive (agriculture, tech, hippies) regions on planet. to think that it won't change the social and economic landscape of the country and the world and is foolish (import/export?). im not saying that weed is going to be a savior or anything like that but to echo McKenna I do think its a big deal what drugs a society supports and uses and currently the US is an Alcohol/Tobacco/Caffeine nation that is getting real friendly with pharmaceuticals and the shitheads that manufacture them. personally I think it would be a huge step though I am nervous about some of the implications and I dont want Seagrams or Marlboro selling me 8 million chemicals with my herb. but hey if I can legally cultivate a little garden in CA come 2011, I think thats pretty awesome.

The vid is great because he is asking the question of whether its still taboo. The girl he passes it to has definitely smoked you can see her say "oh its real" so why is she hiding in the closet?...you know she wants to light up before having to go to work and listen to bill maher...you'd have to for your own peace of mind

I've never smoked weed but I know exactly what it smells like, doesn't imply she's tried it necessarily.

the applications for industrial hemp are limitless and the potential for humans creating it's abundance as a resource is endless and could provide

an unending supply for all. it's amazing that most haven't realized that this is the real underlying issue. industrial hemp has the

power to completely dismantle the petroleum industry if managed and implemented correctly. 'they' don't want that to happen, it's

on a long list of things 'they' don't want to happen.

that's true but i would still bet on it...she gets giggle fits just from the contact high and ya i kind of doubt prop 19 will be successful too but I still think it's meaningful and important in many ways.

but also consider that its not just stoners that will vote for it. shit my mom is voting for it and she hasnt smoked in 20 years. there's been a lot of scare media and horror on the mexican drug cartels not to mention the economy and unemployment in california is 12.5% so people are reeling for something to bounce back on and no one (including the gov) wants all the revenue to go to small business and mafia

I am doubtful that Prop 19 will be successful. Stoners are too lazy to vote and the old conservatives will jump in their mobility scooters and vote it down.

nah, i know lots of people that don't smoke that are down for prop 19. but who knows

an issue perhaps but to say the real underlying issue is a conspirator's reach...

that said,

from wiki:

Hemp is one of the faster growing biomasses known,[6] producing up to 25 tonnes of dry matter per hectare per year, For a crop, hemp is very environmentally friendly, as it requires few pesticides[9] and no herbicides.[10]

to say that we could all be driving hemp oil powered cars in 10 years is a stretch

Its a bit attention seeking "oh oh look at me Im a badass". But thats kind of my opinion of most American comics, and American's in general.

Your incorrect use of the apostrophe is worthy of 20 lashes from the house prefect. Report to him after studies.

to say that we could all be driving hemp oil powered cars in 10 years is a stretch

if 'they' would support hemp reality then we would be forced to buy the conversion kits and everyone would fall in line but big petroleum has their own agenda.

thousands of people are happily employed and no one wants to sacrifice by taking those first few steps in the right direction. like i said, it also has the potential to become

a totally unmanageable resource which would mean the profits would go way down. petroleum is much easier to control and thats how the fuckers harness power towards

all their elitist endeavors. the only way something is worth a high market price is if there is a somewhat limited supply, or the appearance of such.

these are the scales that most decisions are set on in higher circles of power and truth is it gets worse. this is not theory, this is fact.

well when you consider the nature of our political system I think its a stretch even to say things like it would all work out if it weren't for "them"

everyone needs to protect their interests its true which is why even beyond the scope of corporate lobbying power, it would be political and economic suicide for any candidate or incumbent (even a lame duck) to run some sort of campaign to convert everyone's petrol cars to hemp oil.
