I stumbled upon this delicious 6 minute piece of sound in my archives. I don't remember what I did. I don't even remember making it. It sure has some nice textures in it, though. I am posting it here because I think some of you may enjoy it.

so yeah. I didn't want to make a thread because of all the threads here. but might I suggest we share this thread to post our noise bits. it will consolidate our conversations and such.

Some skeptics believe that time-travel cannot be possible because we would have already encountered travellers from the future. However there is also a theory that instead of the machines being something you travel in, you instead have to travel between them. They are like nodes in time. Therefore the earliest you could travel to would be to the point at which the first one was created. This piece sounds like that machine: Node # 1.

This is quite lovely. If Brian Eno dabbled in noise I imagine it would sound something like this.

Here's a live jam I did back in July: https://soundcloud.com/cthulhudetonator/cthulu-detonator-7-23-12-live

Most of my noise tracks are very heavily edited, rearranged and expanded upon in the studio, so this is basically me seeing if I could legitimately perform a live noise piece and still have it be worthwhile. I've yet to actually hit the stage with it, but I've been talking to a guy about doing some live noise shows in the new year. Should be fun.

Hello,

Happy new year to all!

Some interesting noise on this forum

Would like to contribute,

Please have a listen!

I'm not a big fan of the beats in this track. Then again I like my noise with little to no rhythm.

Here's some of my stuff:

Thank you, I consider that a very serious compliment :flower:

also, your track is really fun. sounds a lot more live than a lot of electronic shows I've been too. I like the moment when it gets all death metal, and the tone. Nice manipulations. I think I remember you having a girlfriend from some thread or other but doing a live set like this could result in some excellent attention from strange ladies. ++

Thanks! I've been with the same girl for about 8 years now, and she is about as strange as they come (which explains why she's stuck with me this long!). Girls who like noise is definitely a big turn-on though.
