Hail Sagan
Had a close encounter with one of these dudes (edit: Long Eared Owl) biking through the snow beside the river. Big ass bird swooped down from above over my head and perched on a branch beside the trail. Got within about ten feet, stopped and locked eyes with it for about 20 seconds. Figured it was pretty chill so I went to pull out my phone and it ghosted me. I’ve seen owls on 3 times mountain biking but never that close. Soloman Tump
Recently moved to Devon and I'm loving seeing all the different types of birds that come to our new garden. We did the rspb birdwatch last weekend. All the usual for the UK; Pigeons, Blackbirds, robins, blue tit. Also had Jackdaw, Herring Gull, Magpie, Coal Tit, White Throat, Dunnock and my favourite spot in the photo above was a Goldfinch that didn't hang about for long
Silent Member
Birbs are fly. Spoiler It's about 5 hours by car from here, Tim_J. Not super close, but close by Norwegian standards. Edited February 9, 2021 by Silent Member
