Copy paste from Southern Lord site : "Hibernaculum" is a very special CD and DVD package (1 cd and 1 DVD) release from avant-experimental drone innovators EARTH. - The audio material consists of (3) old Earth classics redone in a different, stark and clean tone (akin to the "Hex" material) plus the track "A Plague of Angels" which was previously available on a rare tour only split (w/ sunn 0)))) 12". The lineup assembled by Dylan for this album compliments the aesthetic and direction perfectly. Adrienne Davies who brought a patient, consistent and complimentary rhythm and percussion to the "Hex" album is again behind the drum kit. Don Mcgreevy and Jonas Haskins…

According to Herr Nicolai himself here. I saw some reviews of the live show somewhere and this promises to be really good. Above link says out the 3rd, saw somewhere else it's to be released the 19th instead. Either way, can't wait!

squarepusher M D K ~ EP
by Guest tidbit- 23 replies

from ..martwarp You may remember MDK from his releases for Spymania - the label that pretty much gave birth to Squarepusher and Jamie Lidell's first releases - and after a lengthy break he's back in action with this new EP for the odd little label that is Weme. This is solid stuff - things have moved on since those times and MDK's production and musical aesthetics have clearly developed at a similar rate if these three tracks are anything to go by. Taking in influences like dubstep - which he builds on well for the first track, reflecting Boxcutter's approach to the genre but with more detailed technicality - and also minimal techno - which he pulls off in a quirky …

I know some of you guys will give a damn, new album announced :) I feel cautiously optimistic about this and seeing them live again. If it totally sucks then I know for sure I will be HUGELY disappointed. They are also touring a lot of rather shitty looking European festivals from June....

Haven`t seen this posted anywhere so I thought I`d mention it. Excellent album. I am pretty surprised at WATMM of late. I dunno, it seems like a lot of good stuff is getting ignored (like this album) recently in favour of five pages of threads about the new unreleased NIN. Weird. And what about that Modul album? As anyone even bothered listening to it? Anyway check it out. It`s up on Bleep among other places.

Brian Grainger's first solo release at Second Sun Recordings comes in the form of a 21-minute drone odyssey on acoustic guitar. "In A Silver Marsh" instantly submerges you in a humid evening outside in the empty southern marshland. Listen to a little bit of it or take it with you for only $6 USD.

Attacknine Records is proud to present Freescha’s long awaited follow up to “What’s Come Inside of You”. Somewhere deep inside the tape machine, when we think we're finally asleep, the amusement park becomes a rock 'n' roll fright mare, and the barbarian rules the bailiwick. Will you be able to yoke the scepter of your glam-box in order to save the opera from Sawlord? Or will the nether-realm be forever engulfed by the shadow-cast, leaving only a bloody slub in its wake? The answer will be found in the runes. And the wizard crystals. And your lube. "HEAD WARLOCK DOUBLE STARE. Twenty four tracks that take you deeper into the darkness of Freeschaland, dripping with fuzzy Ph…
