  1. apparently yes lol.... Googled it and most sources are reporting that as the name.
  2. Record labels that are just out to make money.
  3. Clark - 140k monthly listeners Aphex - 1.65 million monthly listeners BoC - 745K SP - 260K Autechre is only 128K ? Still, you're right it's comparable - I didn't realize he had that large of a fan base.
  4. A hunch... WARP is probably pretty forgiving for their bigger acts as they know there are enough mega-fans that will gobble up anything they put out regardless of style, but maybe Mr. Clark wasn't moving enough numbers for them to be as forgiving? (Kinda analogous to Prefuse 73s situation a few years back)… Also I don't think Clark pulls in the kind of crowds (and revenue) for his live shows as some of those other acts (SP, phex', autechre and so on) so less reason for them to hold on to him. All about the benjamins. Or I could be completely wrong, he left of his own volition, or maybe was difficult to work with and dropped for other reasons of course. Anything is possible. Here's hoping Clarks next few releases are bangers on his own label, he can show WARP what they're missing out on. =P
  5. bewwip is this lovely person https://4rdarmpit.bandcamp.com/
  6. $2.27... USD? That's a tad pricey for 1L milk. That's about right in terms of CAD but $2.27USD is high. They're just charging you extra for convenience (online) or maybe there's a local shortage due to the covids…?
  7. Imo all of his Warp releases have been really solid. Clark and death peak are grand works That's the thing with opinions I guess! We all have diff tastes/expectations and so forth. I honestly couldn't tell you the name of a single track off his S/T album, every track sounded the same to me. Nothing really stood out. Death Peak had Butterfly Prowler & In UK? Edit: see I'm in the huge minority (I think) that actually liked Iradelphic. That was his last proper release for me. Some complained he was hanging out with Wilkinson too much at the time but I enjoyed how much different it sounded than his other output BUT was still undeniably Clark. His newer releases to me, sound like he's trying to imitate himself from over a decade ago. Trying to make the sounds that made him popular but not really succeeding.... There are more artists not active on the label anymore that still have an artist page This exactly - there is the "current artists" you pointed out + "artists" that JR pointed out. Just because he's not signed anymore doesn't mean WARP is going to erase him from their history lol.
  8. Lol, figures with a S/N like "Mause" of course you love the stinkiest cheese. Maybe you can get some delivered!
  9. But your flat/house prob smells a lot less like feet? ?
  10. Yes I listened to Death Peak, had one or two good songs on it . Aside from that it's been almost a decade since he's had a solid release? And yes of course I understand others probably find WARP's recent output good. Some people also find Bruno Mars or Justin Bieber to be the pinnacle of music. Doesn't mean they're right. ? I do believe there is plenty of interesting material still coming out on WARP, but if you were to hold a poll here I bet the vast majority would agree the label has been in decline for a long time. They have a few anchor acts (autechre, aphex, squarepusher, etc etc) and an occasional artist that's actually forward thinking (OPN for example). The rest is very, very meh. Trendy hipster stuff I hear in the clothing stores on the rare occasion I go shopping.
  11. WARP is too busy with AAA acts like "Jockstrap" these days no? lol
  12. His material hasn't been warp quality for awhile though (even after taking into account the gradual decline in the quality of the label). Kinda went the way of prefuse73, started out strong but it got p bad quite quickly. It would make sense IMO if they parted ways.
  13. It's funny but also scary and sad AF because that's such an accurate representation of the president of the most powerful country in the world. dafuq =(
  14. No idea what adventure time is. But the Simpsons have basically done everything - hence the running joke in many other shows, "simpsons did it!". Also character archetypes and so on. The Simpsons set the stage for shows like South Park (later seasons) to follow a format of "relevance" be that social/political etc. A social commentary or whatever. Gives them staying power when they can talk about current events. Not sure cartoons predating the Simpson's did that? Now, as for whether the show "sucks" it's hard to say whether it objectively sucks or maybe we have just outgrown it in our older years, we find relevance in other shows, different formats/different types of humour. I don't have kids but maybe the simpsons for them is similar to how it was for us at their age. Or maybe it actually sucks. But there is a reason it has been around for longer than I've been alive, it's relevant to someone, some age group.
  15. Awesome album. P varied vibe throughout, has some really pretty tracks, his TM vocal samples etc and then you're slammed with massive bass and relentless breaks. What a treat
  16. I remember hearing from what I consider a reputable source that they banked around 1 million USD from TH. No idea if this is accurate:
  17. I can prob help you with it - it was free so I don't think it violates any rules sharing it. PM me if you can't find it?
  18. I want these speakers: https://www.blumenhofer-acoustics.com/AboutUs/History/Discontinued/ClaraLuna/ClaraLuna.php
