I'm about to make the most self-humiliating statement I've ever made on WATMM: I'm a virgin who's never dated before. I was insecure about it for years, but now I couldn't give a shit. That's not to say I don't care about proper grooming, hygiene, and manners. I guess this doesn't count as a midlife crisis though, unless this were still the case fifteen years later.

I saw that about three weeks ago in theatre but ended up walking out about a half hour in. Rented Inception on DVD from Blockbuster afterwards, which was a breath of fresh air in comparison. First time watching both.

Commodore 64 - my first computer ever. I'm diggin' that fat SID-generated bass and percussion, especially considering it's from '87. And you're right, the video is just a mundane animated loop, but the music is solid.

Still playing Borderlands 2, trying get to Level 50 and Playthrough 2.5 by avoiding most of the side missions. My goal is to "farm" the Legendary loot. There are some truly entertaining moments along the way though. A little while ago I faced one of those Nomad Torturers in Sawtooth Cauldron, and I freed the Midget he had chained to his shield. Then he shouted "Midget on the loose!" and they ended up fighting one another. Hilarious.

In front of the bathroom mirror, with a Wahl electric shaver. I've taken to shave my whole head with a 3mm attachment now, to better blend my balding. No more visits to the barber.

System Shock 2, which came out eight years prior to Bioshock, was almost identical in gameplay style. Not a coincidence. Bioshock just happened to get a lot more media coverage. Still, Infinite looks promising.
