Yeah, it's sad to see Rephlex going. He had a nose for new and interesting stuff. With the loss of Rephlex, we get to lose that nose as well. I don't understand why he didn't release a regular AFX album. Analogue Bubblebaths 6-10? Should have been good for business, I'd assume. (but apparently not..)

yes! in dutch though. btw: he confirms tuss=rdj. not that we didn't know already, but whatever. it's not the entire interview, but just a part. basically goes into the why behind the artwork. Richie's basically obsessed with the mechanisms behind how shit gets made. So, the artwork consists of the actual marketing costs to give you/him an idea. So now we know. (also, rephlex is defunct since october last year?) nvmnd: mister Jan was faster! ;D

Possible solution: Jasondonervan sends Chim the info to add to the thread starter. *drops mic* *falls off the stage* edit: has been done already....well done!

That last xmen movie. I forgot the actual title. Which is quite telling actually. For what it was, it wasn't bad though. But the most interesting things were how they portrayed the seventies, and any second where you have jlaw running around in that blue paintjob thingy. Besides that, this one made me mostly wonder how long hollywood will be able to cash in to stuff that was basically already made around the beginning of this century. It feels like going to a summer festival with a line up of bands which were successful in the nineties.

something like that, but i believe the same thing happened with exai. so it might just be apple being "different". also, and bleep screwing up the mailings of the pre-orders. physical releases coming a week after release date or something. ;D
-
TH had samples up at iTunes though. ps.: itunes tend to be earlier than bleep, so if you pre-order on itunes, you'll have them on you computer before the bleep servers are even getting warm.
-
How cute of bleep to immediately add Syro to your available downloads. And that you get the image and nothing but the image if you do. (was hoping for a pre-leak for a sec)

hahaha complete with links to the pirate bay. feels like it's being part of the guerilla marketing tactics. 4chan, tor, pirate bay. I'd be disapointed if the album isn't uploaded to wikileaks at some point. ;D or only available to people who pay with bitcoins.

(I'm guessing a google image search for "fuck yeah gif" will answer your question)

And he wanted Dali in it for a cost of $1,000,000 per hour or something? Yeah, sounded fantastically nuts all round. Nah, he was gonna pay Dali per minute. $1000 per minute in the movie, I believe. For two or three minutes of actual screentime. I loved that docu, btw. Really inspiring stuff. Just the creative process in itself is at least as interesting as that movie would have been. (because I'm not too sure the movie would have actually looked that good at that point in time)

Are you saying that you do beyond what is necessary to excel at your current job? Because that is what the Bale pics show. There are hundreds of actors in film, and only a handful push beyond what is necessary. If you do not go hardcore at whatever job you do currently, please don't be fooled into thinking you would gain/lose 20 kg for your "hypothetical acting career". Ouch. That could only come from a man with a thorough knowledge of his determinism. Unlike the rest of us sheeple. +10 spiritual points for peace7

Just viewed Transcendence. IT WAS A HORRID SNOREFEST. Avoid at all costs. I heard some bad reviews, but I still went in kinda hopeful. Thinking those viewers wouldn't appreciate the conceptual ideas behind the plot. Ehm, I was wrong. It was horrible in most aspects. Dialogues were godaweful. Whether the script was pisspoor, or the director/producers didn't know what they were doing, I don't know. The endresult is a huge cringefest. It's really sad when hollywood finally puts some money in a movie which is not a prequel, sequel or remake of some other movie, but instead goes for something new. This failure might put more budget into those crap blockbusters. For people into those philosophical AI kinda stories it's better to rewatch Ghost in the Machine. Forget about this one.

I'm pretty sure they'd produce crappy tunes though. A mixture of glampoprockfolktronica

I just had a landline call with Nate Silver. He calculated there's an 87,6% chance Oscilik will respond to the previous post in an argumentative manner.
