  1. chuckle vision possibly via the ethical position that, even in a digital format, its toilet paper + tough love
  2. then you've never taken a joy-ride with Frank Booth, something everyone should do at least once
  3. love coffee minus any coffee, mainly with black tea + 1&half sugars dunno how you folks do it, same with cheese which is just congealed spew prefer green teas &/or ginger which is lush, or good ol' PG Tips/Tetley, can't really start the day without a brew
  4. depressing & creepy it set things up really well with the intro where he admitted to certain things in his sexuality that are dark (catholic guilt?), but it was his gross interactions with female performers intercut with family life & his kids that was fkn depressing no escaping his giblets in the shower at the start, set the tone from then on, plus his cousin seemed a bit of a wrong un too
  5. used to live next door to a police fire-arms specialist, an alright bloke for British filth but in all seriousness one of the most mal-coordinated human beings ever encountered getting home stoned from a trek while he was getting home from his shift, dropping his rucksack one moment or tumbling out of his Landrover from tripping over his own seat-belt the next, was always a rush old biddies are a different breed of vigilante doe - their cats go awol for a few hours & they're knocking on the door, the idea of them sat watching Antiques Roadshow repeats, nostrils flaring at some unknown odour, will give anyone the fear the decarber has good enough reviews for a punt, plus the fact you can do a batch & just sprinkle what comes out on yer dinner is as uber- convenient & as stress free as this human has been able to research, no infusions needed, no raised eyebrows from her indoors, subterfuge but beggars/choosers innit
  6. oven decarbing stinks the entire house out, same w/butter infusions if you have tiny people living with you & elderly neighbours who are high intensity curtain-twitchers, discretion demands a bit of stealth, we cant all be footloose & fancy free tried a dozen or more supposedly odour free methods to decarb & they're all misleading about the level of odours produced, plus the oven temp fluctuates 200quid is worth it, cos its cheaper than actually moving or buying a new oven ;)
  7. So it is 100% odor-less? how do terpenes do their job then? Btw I forgot to mention that I want a portable one... Pens really look nice but they onlt work with oil capsules right? I want to smoke my own weed buds... bypass smoking https://ardentcannabis.com/products/nova-decarboxylator/
  8. excellent dialogue was the 1st thing i thought of seeing that poster
  9. Krauthammer sounds like a porn performer name
  10. Strange Angel - no idea where this is going quality-wise
  11. peanuts = death, so 2 portions of peanut sauce means this phone now has anaphylaxis
  12. pigeons are loaded with bugs n mites case study - eating lunch in Nottingham's Market Square many moons ago, surrounded by swarms of these cunts all strutting on the ground looking for leftover lunch morsels, someone's fkn kid ran through the middle of them whereupon they ALL took off, flapping n rustling all over the gaff & shedding all this parasitic pestilence into my hair, ears, shirt, tie, dowsed might be the appropriate term.... no other choice than immediately taking a taxi home to shower, minging the city council employs a falconer/hawk to pick em off at sunrise, eat em all bruv
  13. What's your/watmms take on progressive house? Just curious. It seems like such a far encompassing style that it's hard to categorize often (which I think makes it exciting). What comes to mind for me when I think of progressive house stems from when it took off in the early to mid 90s. Of course the cliches-- bell synths/pads, slow builds/transitions, on the darker moodier side with more poetic lyrics and vocals, atmospheric. It's changed flavor over the years of course. Elements of trance, electro, chill, etc. Really anything can be progressive depending on the structures and attitudes. I'd even call some 80s and early 90s deep house progressive as much of it truly was. Evolving, long, complex, heady. Nowadays it seems to be hone in more on the Uber clean emotional poppy vocal, with beach/Palm tree asthetics lol. A lot of it is samey and uninspired, but some of it is lush as hell. Maybe far from the spirit of house of course, but often an ambitious excercise in euphoric trance/electro-house tropes and structures. a mixed bag like a lot of music depending on labels & jocks, if you're in the mood to dig "Flying Records" & "Guerilla" releases are worth sifting through, but there's a minor caveat (see below) https://www.discogs.com/label/7260-Flying-Records-UK?page=1&genre=All&limit=500 https://www.discogs.com/label/621-Guerilla something sketchy happened round about 1994, maybe a collective comedown with certain London music industry types rinsing a sound until it was dead on its feet, but have a rummage for mixes by a DJ called Fabi Paras on Youlube for a taste unfortunately Progressive (even the tag sounds a tad naff) morphed into the later Sasha/Digweed "Epic" bs that is frankly inexcusable, but Junior Boys Own skirted that sound signature although they were canny enough not to over-indulge it have a gander at those labels & their releases between inception up to about '94 & there are bound to be bits you'd like, i aint at home so record crate digging isnt possible, but i'm sure you'll navigate what takes yer fancy the date specific angle isnt nostalgia or snobbery, more that theres a world of shit after a certain time period & life's too short cheers ears, will give these a rinse this week!
  14. from what i remember (which isnt a lot) IPA's kinda overdosed your tongue after a few rounds cos of the hops, plus they can be a bit heavy if you've got a pub crawl session lined up a world away from the old, flat, room temperature ales/goldens/porters/bitters you'd get in British & Irish pubs just as the campaign for real ales got a head of steam up, now i read bitters are being marketed as "British Ales" in the US/Europe my old man's favourite brewery had all sorts, highly recommended: https://www.tinyrebel.co.uk/beers/
  15. the mix that broke Sasha to a larger audience b4 he went all progressive/epic, also a rare case of an MC actually clicking with a House jock (plus i was there) skip to 1min-23secs
  16. fk me thats a name i havent seen for eons, flaaaaaaaashback
  17. despite everything in the universe trying to fk it up, got to see Stanhope tonight in Hammersmith thank-you Douglas for philosophies on Indian gang rape, the King of Thailand being told to fuck off a dozen ways, Millwall fans, parents of dead kids skimming gofundme pledges, cancer, Islamic State stealing his audience, touche
