  1. i like it when they're scared, it gives my ejaculate an extra 20% of thrust
  2. cheers ears some mint selections on this page, gonna take a week's worth of travel to sift thru em all
  3. at the intersection of ambient & drone https://orphax.bandcamp.com/album/somni-t-r-s
  4. had a few conversations with folks down thru the years about this....what a role doe...possibly un-filmable as a novel what'd'y'all'mst've think of the Child of God adaptation he did? I haven't read the book but it seemed basically ok to me, not spectacular, but not a total rubbish either. I just disliked how he had to insert himself into it for art cred. edit: also I can't hate Linklater's A Scanner Darkly, I mean it's my favourite book and my expectations would probably be way too high for any adaptation but he tried to do it right and it had its heart in the right place, even if it was kind of an undercooked mess. I liked the rotoscoping idea. Scanner is such an immense read, when you finish it the 1st time like a virgin it was similar to finishing Blood Meridian, ie what the fock did i just read & how long b4 i can summon the fortitude to read it again? Child of God was ok, the lead was very good @ conveying just how isolated that character was, possibly the best work Franco's been involved with but if it had pushed the cinematography far more it could've been a stronger visual feast
  5. as such a landmark graphic novel & after Jodorowsky's near miss with Dune, Refn isnt fit to adapt the scope of Incal if his last abortion was anything to go by its just possible that an adaptation worse than A Scanner Darkly lurks with an opus like Incal & that would be a travesty there are much better directors to rape this specific bride, just as i'm glad James Franco never followed thru by serving the world a turd for Blood Meridian
  6. cool, anyone who wafts their initials over the big screen during its opening credits isnt fit to adapt Jodo that'd be the reverse of alchemy, turning gold into shit
  7. global prices index, guardian delivers for once https://www.theguardian.com/cities/2018/jan/31/which-city-cheapest-most-expensive-cannabis-marijuana
  8. Incal is obligatory, so many other works ripped it off & plagiarized it, its incredible fun deffo indulge this b4 Psychomagic, you're in for a real treat
  9. what are your standard rates, quarter oz for example?
  10. always fun to see Jodorowsky's films appreciated, hitting the spots they're designed for & aimed at, but 88 doe? when he's gone a true visionary will have passed it def has more whimsy & comedy (his mother's tits & singing, jesus christ) than either El Topo or The Holy Mountain, but few works of art pack as much into their assemblages as those 2 could, just goes to show the will-power the man still has to steer a ship thru such waters have you explored his text "Psychomagic"? The title and cover font might put you off & its mainly an extended interview, but it goes into his methods, influences (he worships Leonora Carrington), life events, central & south American poetry/art, the role of healers & how he got drawn into psychotherapy..... it can drift here & there & you can never quite capture the mood of a conversation through certain styles of transcription, but recommended if Jodo gets you wet or at the very least moist definitely time to roll out El Topo & The Holy Mountain again in the dark wintry months, so cheers for the inadvertent reminder!
  11. aye to the Volcano analog and like Entor's post above outlines with temp variants for different times of day or tasks to be completed, its a blast experimenting the price tag might put people off, but for efficiency, beefy balloons you can dip in & out of or leave for an hour, plus edibles from the pre-vaped leftovers, chicken dinner keep em clean & they're wunderbar, solid engineering & sturdy as fk cannabis isnt for every1, i try n keep it to 2 nights a week with an edible for sunday strutting in the hills & thats specifically for chronic pain management (the pain is still there but the edible raises my pain tolerance threshold by a significant margin of difference), but also to keep away from turgid opiate options best left for emergencies googling round that E-Nano looks well designed the irony of the US developing so many application options, from tinctures to strain differentials, is slowly diffusing out into the wider world
  12. have you seen this one?http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4501706/ it shouldnt have worked, but Aaaaaaaaaaah was grotesquely funny the sex scenes, the food "aspects" with the spoof buxom tv cook Nigella piss take, the alpha male bullying his beta mate, the party & drugs sequence,Steve Oram in general, Julian B & the escalating finale.... a vastly superior comedy compared to Mindhorn
  13. Britannia - finished & a tad gutted. Zoe Wanamaker's hair (why?), the Stig of the Dump druid costume dept, Norse runes out of any chronological order or archaeological context, no focus on Ynys Mon, clumpy script.....all further eroded by an intriguing premise about pre-Christian beliefs & exactly how the Romans did so much damage here. There are flourishes...the 2 Roman deserters chancing on a druid drug stash, or Julian Rhind-Tutt's character's lols while his wife is constantly fucked by a Gaul due to strict druidic orders, the eunuch son having to get his dismembered lad out for the Roman chief of staff & the real reason for the Roman leader's interest in druid magic, but its impossible to watch w/out referencing GoT's & i fkn loathe GoT's fantasy bs. It tries really hard to be psychedelic, present a pre-christian world & its belief systems, the role of the Underworld & spells, but its like Harry Potter went back in time during a particularly arduous acid trip & got spooked. another coded allusion to Brexit/10
  14. Not for the first time from the insipid Eugenius. How radical to question Mark E Smith's legacy. How very very very radical. Imagine a time with them both in a locked room together to see who would make it out alive, legacy still intact.
  15. thats mint, cheers ears, slipped below me radar
  16. the world without Mark E Smith? kin ell THE KING OF THE NORTH!
  17. wait what? I have to prep stuff? I just wanna take the lil nugs and put 'em on somewhere and fire it. ah got it ok. cleanin right? hm. this is a good tip. Danke The Air is slick & the Solo gives a solid format, both are wortha punt, but the Solo's battery is a pain to change & the Air can pass for an e-cig on the street walking Air just edges it, charge it, turn it on once to evap any factory residue, then add a pinch of special fx to the glass stem, inhale, exhale, bosh, mosh cleaning em is proper easy, plus they do a black ceramic stem that increases yer schmooooov
