    ya think? who does this hurt the most? i know we have what biden said with the smug close lipped smile.. but seems like this hurts germany and EU the most as winter approaches. putin weaponizing the gas and an energy crisis to put pressure on them is something he's been doing.. but the pipeline "falling out a window" like one of his enemies.. i mean.. wtf. idk. i mean.. russia still has contracts for that gas and i think they get the money regardless of being able to deliver the gas or something.. so they get the money and EU doesn't get the gas? it's gonna play out how it plays out. what a fucking time to be alive.

    Interesting but as with anything trump related… we’ll see. the criminal case that was put aside by that newly elected guy, Alan Bragg, always seemed fishy to me. Will be interesting to see what the IRS does and what the 2nd district does.

    everyone sampled everything back then. the law didn't change until when? i forget. they got 50% of the writing royalty so isn't that enough? the beastie boys and the dust brothers went through a long litigation from like a hundred musicians over copyright for samples used on Paul's Boutique but when it was made that was just how things were. the lawsuit didn't happen until the law changed for clearing samples.

    I put it in the free software thread too. Worth mentioning the m1 binary is broken. The intel version installs on m1 systems though. Seems fine.

    apparently design by Aphex. Samplebrain A custom sample mashing app designed by Aphex Twin. Samplebrain chops samples up into a 'brain' of interconnected small sections called blocks which are connected into a network by similarity. It processes a target sample, chopping it up into blocks in the same way, and tries to match each block with one in it's brain to play in realtime. This allows you to interpret a sound with a different one. As we worked on it (during 2015 and 2016) we gradually added more and more tweakable parameters until it became slightly out of control.
