  2. me showing up at heaven ready to ask god what the fuck all of that was
  3. i can't wait to have the time to listen to all of them in one big playlist to get the full sonic wash/mental floss. i need to watch twin peaks season 3 again too.
  4. it's all deeeeeep. from the very first moments of session 1. deep.
  5. ugh. pain sucks especially that. get some massages if you can. or a foam roller to roll out your back
  6. have a docto appoitment today at 5pm? wtf. what doctor sees patients that late.. i guess this one. at 430 is game 7 of bruins/leafs and i want to watch it. also the MD office is right in th emiddle of commuter traffic hell.. at 5pm. fuck. i may have a hernia. i may not. if not a hernia then wtf is wrong w/me? if a hernia then i get surgery. either way is dumb.
  7. fuck her. it's these kind of people that end up in some law firm where they make the next savings an loan scandal happen and then they plead all clueless about it.
  8. thiking about it like that it's almost some bit of subversion to get people to pay attention on their own as the "good shit is happening and you aren't going to find out about it unless you look for yourself" or something. not gonan fight for air time in the hype machine.. just gonna put it out and if you're not looking in that general direction oh well. "cool people will know about it" but really.. NTS residency and some tweets and and go around the web on those channels and poof! here we are. not like it's a secret w/all kinds of people shitting themselves and reposting about "is it thursday yet?". this whole thing churning over a month too.
  9. seems i've spoiled my dog over the 1st couple months of being his parent. i need to put him on a diet and help him lose a couple pounds.
  10. I have found that hugely with all 3 so far. Also don't get the dislike on Splesh, it's a propa banga. there's a lot buried in there and at times a submerged (my favorite word lately) beat comes in and brings the whole track together.
  11. i'm going to be sad when thursday has come and gone but happy too because wtf i have 8 hours of new stuff to listen to while drooling on the studio floor .. or shit posting on watmm.
  12. Seriously. lastrushup and whoever else can go on talking about incorrect bass or look at the waveforms but, no. My ears work. I listen to (and write) a lot of bass-heavy music and if NTS doesn't kick your dick/cunt in with bass then something is wrong. I love the fact that we have different opinions on how the kick drums and general bass levels on these releases is irritating. It's so silly. We've all got different ears, different equipment and different tastes. It's fine. oh look at the reasonable person being reasonable "we all have different ears" reasonable person says...
  13. i kinda scanned throug a bunch of tracks from sessions 1-3 and holy fuck so much awesome immense bewildering tunes.. after session 4 i'll have to decompress or something. make some play lists and then approach them again. i have a bunch of recordsings of the modular i have to go through but i don't want to go near them while i'm thinking about the autechres. it'll headfuck the outcome.
  14. Untold the awesome producer oh dope. just went through some youtubes. heady techno. i think i'd stand in the back of the room all ears too.
  15. Yup they should do a podcast session in 4 parts over 4 weeks. what's his name from hafler trio could do the interviews. andrew mckenzie?
  16. i heardit at work first and couldn't focus on it.. but when i got home i listened in the studio and there's some amazing structure in there.. and those pitter patter rhythms going on.. everything kind of constantly morphs. i appreciate all the open loose structures in all these tracks. having listened to lot's of really long jazz tracks from miles davis (big fun, panthallassa, etc) over the years i find it immediately makes sense for them to do this kind of thing and really just play w/all the ideas. icari is epic to me.
  17. there's tons of great low end in ninefly and icari. sounds awesome in the studio. whatever is going on in ninefly i like it. it's weirdly stretchy sounding and spectral. fucking great weirdness.
  18. i always think of beavis when i see her https://stubhillnews.com/2017/03/21/kellyanne-beavis/
