These tracks are all so amazing... I am okay with him going in a new direction, he's free to do whatever he wants of course. At least I'm thankful that he has such an amazing back catalogue that I can fall back on when his new releases don't cut it for me. Final verdict on the new album is that it's good, but definetely not something I consider to be more than that. It's fun to return to sometimes but I doubt I'll be listening to it regularly. It's nice revisit every now and then so I bought it on CD anyway.

This would deserve it's own thread if it hadn't been out for a while already. You guy's need to check out the new album FP has made with saxophone player Pharoah Sanders and the London Symphony Orchestra. It's fucking beautiful.

I undersand that people dislike this one, I have to admit that even though I love Clark's music (even his scoring work) this hasn't really been doing anything for me. Death Peak got a lot of hate here as well but it wasn't deserved. Imo the self-titled album is as good as DP.

That's funny, in my opinion Port Rhombus is a reasonably sad track. In my opinion the melody sounds like you are looking back on times when life was better. It's melancholy to me. I'd say Journey To Reedham is the happy Squarepusher track

It's weird that he hasn't gained more traction here. He doesn't even have his own thread even though he has a couple of great projects.

Anyone into his music? I personally really enjoy his albums. He's the guy behind a lot of the instrumentals of the last two Frank Ocean projects.
