  1. Just for the pagebreak: I agree, wonder what keeps him from starting a new label... Maybe he's trying to get enough money in before? I think he was done with having a label, that's the impression I got from what he said in Syro-interviews. Of course I hope I'm wrong :)
  2. ^ Ah, I think I missed those, I only have the alternative versions of Anubis and Zinking :) (as uploaded)
  3. There are a few websites where you can buy your place into every streaming site / online store, roughly about 20 dollars per year for either one album or all your music (depends on the site). I know my mates have done this for a few years and they say it works fine, not sure which one they use tho, I'll ask. They also earn those 20 dollars per year back with just the streams from Spotify too. I don't think those include shops specifically designed for electronic music though. edit: they use Tunecore, but here's a nice overview: http://www.digitalmusicnews.com/permalink/2014/05/29/digital-distribution-company-review
  4. Just revisited this again, my cranium receptor units are still blown away by this. Basically, what the last four posts above me said. Classic album already. Also:
  5. All the original tracks from Ulvers 'Childhood Ends', who redid them all a few years ago, in one handy click. Some very famous ones, some nuggets too: https://www.mixcloud.com/andr%C3%A9-gaudet/lost-found-from-the-age-of-aquarius-eulogy-for-the-late-sixties/
  6. Think this one deserves to be here too, even though it's just audio: (The end result of that: http://classic.beatport.com/track/three-days-of-entropy-original-mix/3615932 )
  7. Slag Boom van Loon / Mike & Rich Bilious Paths Royal Astronomy Tango N' Vectif Lunatic Harness Those are the albums I always return to, no order. I'd like to emphasize the Slag Boom van Loon project though. I remember discovering µ-Ziq through Autumn Acid on Kazaa (presented as an Aphex track...) around 2001/2 while at the same time hearing Slag Boom van Loon because my brother was / is really into Speedy J's music. Shortly after that I got Mike & Rich as well. I was young and naive so I loved that track + those albums but had no idea Mike was behind them all :) so yeah, Royal Astronomy and the collab albums have become incredibly nostalgic for me. I still have lots of stuff to discover though, especially the sideprojects, some recent releases and some soundcloud tracks. I also just have to mention Duntisbourne... too, that would be the next one on the list. My fave track atm though: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1vuj7Ju59C0
  8. Yeah, that was the winner of the comp after it was revealed the first choice was Aphex. Top track!
  9. Oh, yes! Clips are up at http://www.nightwindrecords.org/ Guess the unreleased space g-funk track or whatever it was called is now known as Paracruise Waffles. Sweet! And here's the full track. So, so tasty: Available on gold plated audio cassette in luxurious faux leather "vintage C64/ZXspectrum computer game" style cassette-box and on bandcamp later this month" I'm really glad he's back with a label releasing physical stuff again, like we would say 'blood crawls where it cannot go' :) I'm so buying the shit out of this on that cassette!
  10. Yeah, I posted this too when the track was uploaded. This was the file (including ID3-tag) he must've sent to Future Music, sending it through that adress to stay anonymous for Luke and FM.
  11. The latest (fourth) batch of downloads: http://we.tl/YJgMK1HifS I've included all 55 tracks (Triple D - Nightmail), two of which weren't downloadable but I added the stream rip (128 kbps) of those in the batch.
  12. There was a Dutch blog called Eclectro.nl I was into that produced some very interesting videos from producers showing their studio and the process for making a track. English subtitles are availble, a lot of fun to watch imo. Mostly focussed on the Dutch house / techno / electronic scene:
  13. It was mentioned a few times on the last page... Also, pagebreak posterity: African Rhyt Paul Guntrip RIP brought me&me mates attention to this mikey dread album with all the now famous samples, he used to drop them in over his dj set, amazing DJ, big inspiration, we were lucky down in the depths of cornwall to have him come down and play us stuff we probably never would have heard. I gave him some of my VERY early demos that i havnt even given to anyone else or SC yet and he gave me some really useful crit, even though i was a bit hurt by it at the time, was a good kik Sekonda Yes Steve Reich vibes 4 sure, was very interesting meeting him a couple of years ago, he REALLY wanted to release my Pendulum array re-work which was a huge compliment on nonsuch but i never got around to sorting it out... Had an initial super good long conversation with him in Poland, picked each others brains and kind of forget where we were..still got lots of things buzzing around inside my head from it..but then we said our goodbyes thinking we would probably never meet each other again but was really funny/odd because my girlfriend and I just KEPT bumping into him, party in a polish bar, around the festival, the airport lounge, transport bus, on the plane in the arrival lounge, it got really embarrasing, by the end I was like look im fucking sick of seeing your face mate! [ jokingly ] Bellbrk 1989-91 used to swim in this lake when i was a kid, then one hot summer, farmers drained it and it was full of dead horses, cows, sheep, rusty bikes and cars...Carn Marth...wondered why the water tasted funny.
  14. Nice! Man, I'd love that Pendulum gig released properly! 15. + Intothesky is missing too, and that wasn't released. It does have very recognizable RDJ Album sounds though (if that should have any relevance at all)
  16. Wow, I was just listening a few oldies and scrolled back up and saw it, thought I was imagining it! OH YES I think only Phlid is missing, but yeah, already released so no suprise there :) ...And Cheetah7 in .wav too!
  17. I'm pretty sure it's because of his deal with Chrysalis that makes his tracks end up in that database. That site was also the main give away he was really The Tuss for anyone who still had doubts (the Tuss releases were also published by Chrysalis). Hmm, this sounds like a good deal actually. Unless it means they can delete whatever they like (like Merlin is already doing on YouTube), then boo! When did he signied with Chrysalis?. I thought he was totally free. Maybe a bit slave of warp, but Chrysalis?? The slave / suits part isn't Warp afaik but Chrysalis. I'm not sure when he signed up there, but I think it was around the SAW II release. The origin of it is described in that book about SAW II. http://www.bmgchrysalis.com/category/music/?artist=aphex-twin

  19. Also one of my treasured albums from back in the day! That track and the last track especially, oh man... I always loved that overly ridiculous intro before the last track too, one minute of overlapping shouting ( https://youtu.be/Wm2l_jcQum4?t=29m26s ) Related (for me, I listened these two in the same period a lot), the part around 2:33 - 3:33 is still one of my fave metal bits in history: https://youtu.be/cMdBqVaMDvU
