So the guy who was originally that hopelessly fake Caustic Window user who f5'd harder then everyone on here took the user48736353001 name Richard had and then posted short BoC-hype style amateurish videos with static sounds from a sort of not sure maybe maybe not Chris Cunninghams YouTube channel (a person who has nothing to do with releasing / promoting / hyping stuff, just producing videos... something he also hasn't done in years as well) with jibberish cryptic titles. When did this start to get credible exactly? *haven't had my coffee yet, brb*

Shit, I still have to listen to pretty much every episode. I just stumbled upon this track from that latest show and man is it good!

eh source? (without the undownloadable ones) there's about 150 of the tracks that have been ENCODED BY iTunes 12 (~2014) and there's about 14 encoded with Soundjam (~2001), and earlier itunes versions left and right.. From cassette to DAT, probably ripped to PC later? He did play out a lot from his laptop in livesets over the years so he must've had them for a while?

But if you have any 'Soundcloud Downloader' browser extensions, you'll get a 128kb Mp3 regardless = ripping the stream.

Aphex uploads a track in whatever quality he encoded it in (mostly 320kbps, sometimes less). For streaming, soundcloud enables a 128kbps stream. If you use the download button you get what he uploaded (including his id3 tags) and when you rip them from the stream you get just the 128kbps stream. Interesting that most of these tracks were encoded 15 years ago with (according to him) inferiour equipment. If he would release these tracks he said he would encode this again so the quality would be even better...

Bradley Strider 12"s are by him & should be included in discographies, and the Mike & Rich album is called simply "Mike & Rich", expert knob twiddlers was just part of the artwork, but I can see how it happened. well, she's all over user0000008673. She's obviously someone in the know. (Richard & Friends other dump account. Collab shiz.) No, she is not 'in the know'. Just someone from Mexico. 'They are kissing cousins' is in response to her thinking that track sounding like Pancake Lizard. That's it.

Damn, already two years ago that he announced new music. Yeah, well overdue :) 2008......2013 I figure 5 years of relative inactivity is an adequate musical absence. New music will be produced and released this year. HAPPY NEW YEAR.

If I could take a wild guess then Soundcloud probably broke Soundcloud, as they usually do :) or it's just Richard that has a specific ranking system on his frontpage (the spotlight ones being his alltime faves, that's for sure, but beneath that the ones with the most likes / views maybe? Hard to tell) Yeah, that's the right link!

Found the sister video I'm pretty sure that video was made by someone from watmm to demonstrate how easy it was to make it look like he it was Richard playing separate tracks of the song, mainly because of the scepticism towards the authenticity of that original video (parody being the obvious 'shoe-shot').

is that a slow version of a remixed tune (dont go strangers) at the beguining of the pukkelpop set (2002) ? I knew I recognized it from somewhere! It's from the Pukkelpop set before he plays Yazoo - Don't Go. Cheers!
